Truma AquaGo Desired Water Temperature

Product Information

The Truma AquaGo is a water heater system designed for use in recreational vehicles (RVs). It requires periodic decalcification to maintain optimal performance. The decalcification process involves using special tablets to remove mineral deposits from the system.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that you have access to city water for the cleaning process.
  2. Turn off the city water supply and allow the system to cool off.
  3. Locate the toggle switch on the outside of the RV and turn off the Truma AquaGo.
  4. Inside the RV, open a hot water faucet to depressurize the system and drain the water. Close the faucet once water stops flowing.
  5. Return to the Truma AquaGo unit outside the RV. Stand to the side and slowly pull down the yellow Easy Drain Lever to remove the filter.
  6. Open the decalcification tablet pack and insert all 6 tablets into the filter screen.
  7. Place the filter loaded with the decalcification tablets back into the water heater, close the yellow lever, and snap it in place.
  8. Turn on the city water supply.
  9. On the outside of the RV, turn the AquaGo toggle switch to the on position.
  10. Select a faucet with the highest pressure and a removable screen/aerator. Remove the screen to prevent clogging and ensure accurate flow measurement during the rinse cycle.
  11. Inside the RV, turn on a hot water faucet to purge air from the lines. The water may appear pink, which is normal. Turn off the faucet.
  12. During the cleaning cycle, the circulation pump will intermittently turn on. This is normal. The decalcification process will take approximately 2 to 3 hours and cannot be sped up or canceled once started.

  3. Once the cleaning process is complete, the amber light will blink rapidly.
  4. Turn the analog dial to the Off position. On the outside of the RV, turn the AquaGo toggle switch to the off position and wait for 1 minute.
  5. Turn the AquaGo toggle switch to the on position and then go inside and turn on the analog dial.
  6. Slowly turn the analog dial from Off to Comfort, to Eco, back to Off, and then to Eco again. Repeat this process if necessary until you see a solid amber light, indicating successful activation.
