OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Charging and Activating the Watch
After taking the watch out of the packaging, please connect it to the charger to activate the devicethrough charging.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APP ON YOUR SMARTPHONE.

• For Android smarlphones, please scan the OR code below lo download and install the app.
• For iOS smarlphones, please search for “VERTU WATCH” in the App Store to download and install the app .
• Note : During the app installation or usage, please follow the prompts lo enable all permissions. Otherwise, ii may affect the normal use of the app.

SETTING AND PAIRING

After successfully downloading and installing the app, please turn on Bluetooth on your phone and bring it close to the watch.

1. On the watch, go to Settings-> OR Code. On the device page of the app, click on the “Scan” icon in the upper right corner to scan the QR code on the watch to pair them.
2. On the device page of the app, click on the “Device” button and search for “VERTU WATCH” to pair them. Follow the prompts to complete the pairing process.

You can check the pairing status in the quick menu to confirm whether the pairing is successful.

Precautions

2. To protect your rights, please do not alter or damage the warranty card or invoice, as it may affect your product warranty. Original purchase receipt must be provided for repair services. If the above-mentioned proof materials are damaged or unreadable, or if they are intentionally torn, we will not provide warranty service.
3. This product meets the IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating requirements, which provides normal waterproofing for daily life and is suitable for outdoor sports, shallow water activities, rainy days, and other usage scenarios. This product is not suitable for activities that involve high water pressure, high temperature, high humidity, or high-speed water flow, such as hot showers, hot springs, saunas (steam rooms), scuba diving, deep diving, platform diving, high-pressure washing, etc. Genuine leather straps are not suitable for swimming or sports activities that involve excessive sweating.

Battery Warning

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty replaces all other VERTU warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, tortious1 or otherwise, including but not limited to, any implied conditions, warranties, or terms of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law. However, this Limited Warranty does not exclude or limit:

1. any legal (statutmy) rights that you may have under applicable national laws within the scope of such laws; or
2. any rights that the product seller may have granted to you. VERTU guarantees to you (the purchaser of this product) that VERTU or an authorized VERTU service company will provide free compensation for material, design, and workmanship defects within a commercially reasonable time, subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty (unless required by law), by repairing or, if VERTU determines it is necessary, replacing the product

Warranty Period
The warranty period is calculated from the date of the first end-user’s purchase of the product. Different individual products and components in the watch may be subject to different warranty periods. These different warranty periods are as follows:

1. For the electronic components inside the watch, the warranty period is twelve months
2. for the watch case and other parts, the warranty period is six months.

What is not covered by the warranty

1. This Limited Warranty does not cover the user manual or any third-party software, settings, content, data, or links, no matter they are included with the product or downloaded in the product, or generated at any other stage of installation, assembly, transportation, or delivery, or obtained by any means. By using third-party applications, you acknowledge that the application software is provided as is. VERTU does not warrant that any VERTU software will operate in conjunction with any third-party hardware or software, that the operation of any software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defects in the software can or will be corrected.
2. This Limited Warranty does not cover: a) normal wear and tear (including but not limited to wear and tear of the crystal, case, and strap); b) defects caused by mishandling (including but not limited to defects caused by sharp objects, bending, compression, or dropping); c) defects or damages caused by improper use of the product, including use that does not comply with the instructions provided by VERTU (such as those stated in the product’s user guide)i d) other actions beyond VERTU’s reasonable control.
3. This Limited Warranty does not cover defects or so-called defects caused by the use of this product with any product, accessory, software, or service not manufactured or provided by VERTU, or by the use of this product for non-designated purposes. If services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks are illegally accessed by you or a third party, you may suffer losses due to viruses. The ways of illegal access may include hacker attacks, password cracking, or other methods.
4. This Limited Warranty does not apply to defects caused by battery short circuits, damage to the battery seal or battery itself, evidence of battery tampering, or defects caused by the use of the battery in non-designated devices. This Limited Warranty does not apply if this product has been opened, modified, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized VERTU service company, repaired with non-authorized spare parts, or if the product’s serial number has been removed, erased, altered, or made illegible in any way. This should be determined by VERTU.
5. This Limited Warranty does not apply if the product has been exposed to moisture, extreme temperatures or environmental conditions (or rapid changes in such conditions), corrosion and oxidation, or affected by food or liquid splashes or chemicals.

VERTU Liability Limitations
When there is a defect in the product, this Limited Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against VERTU and VERTU’s sole and exclusive liability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VERTU shall not be liable for any loss or damage to data, loss of profits, inability to use or missing functionality of the product, business loss, contract loss, loss of revenue or anticipated savings, increased expenses or expenditures, or any indirect, consequential, or special losses or damages. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VERTU’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product The above limitations do not apply to cases where VERTU has committed gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or where it has been proven that death or personal injury was caused by the fault of YERTU.

Within the scope of this document, any statements, warranties, damages, and liability limitations applicable to YERTU shall also apply to any licensor of YERTU.
