Before you begin:

CAUTION : Risk of personal injury or product damage. Handle with care; product can break, chip, cause injury or product damage if handled carelessly. Get help lifting the sink.

• Read these instructions carefully before you begin this installation.
• Inspect your new BOCCHI VESSEL BATHROOM SINKS carefully to ensure it is the correct model, fit and free of any damage. Carefully return it to its protective carton or a safe surface until ready to install.
• CAUTION : Be very careful when setting the sink down to avoid any breakage.
• Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
• Shut off the hot and cold water supplies.
• Inspect the drain, supply tubing and plumbing set-up. Replace or make corrections as needed according to local plumbing codes and standards.
• It is very important that the proper materials are used with your sink. Proper selection of materials is critical for a secure installation. Because of the variance in counter thickness, your carpenter and plumber must be aware of the exact type of cabinets, countertops, and other materials you choose.
• The cabinet and frame shown in these instructions are generic and may not represent the actual design or structure.
• Due to the nature of fine fireclay sinks, templates are not provided. It is recommended to use the actual sink being installed as its own template to ensure a proper cut/fit.
• BOCCHI recommends that all installations be installed be performed by a trained and experienced installer.
• Due to the variety of installations possible with this sink, you may need to use other procedures than described.
• All information in these instructions is based on thelatest product information available at the time of publication. BOCCHI reserves the right to make revisions in the design of products without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

Tools and Materials:

NOTE : Special tools may be needed to install faucet mounting holes, or water lines; if not already done, please consult a professional to perform any additional steps to prep the space for the installation of these faucets.

Counter Installations:

Installation:

1. Unpack the sink and inspect for defects. If you have any questions, contact BOCCHI immediately tollfree at 877-565-2221 or email BOCCHI directly at [email protected]

2. Find the matching dimensions on the spec drawing. If you do not have a printed copy of your spec drawing, copies can be found online at www.BOCCHIUSA.com

3. Place the vessel on the counter in the desired spot
   NOTE : Be sure to consider the proper placement in relation to the position of the faucet so that the drain is in the necessary position.

4. Mark the drain hole of the vessel on the counter while in proper position.
   NOTE : You can make additional marks around the base, where the vessel sits on the counter, if you would like to use it as an additional guide to placing the vessel back into place after applying the sealant as instructed below.

5. Remove the vessel from the counter. Mark a 120 mm (4.72 inches)circle using the center of the drain hole previously drawn circle using the same center point.

6. Cut out a hole using the 120 mm (4.72 inches) diameter circle.

7. Install the drain to the vessel.
   NOTE : Follow the instructions provided with the drain you are installing to complete this step.

8. Carefully turn the vessel upside down and apply a thin strip of sealant to the underside portion of the vessel that will sit directly on the counter in the finished position.

9. Place the vessel over the counter lining up the drain with the previously cut hole. Be careful to set the vessel down in the desired orientation and press firmly to even out the sealant.

10. Remove the excess sealant around the base of the vessel for a clean finish. To create a strong bond, do not move or bump the vessel for at least 24 hours to allow
    the sealant to properly set.
