(1).Setup Wizard
The setup wizard guides you through the process of configuring and saving the key and value functions you require. Follow the steps below:

• a. Select a device model.
• b. Choose the key you wish to configure.
• c. Select the desired function.
• d. Set the necessary key values.
• e. Save the key values.
• f. Successfully configured.

Function Setting Introduction

Keyboard : Click the input box to read the keyboard input.
ElfKey support keyboard HID drive free, the same computer can be inserted multiple simultaneous use.

• a. Single key value
  You can set keyboard keys as required, note: you can only enter one key value!

• b. Multi-key combination

  • Select the multi-key combination first.
  • Enter multiple key values, such as (Copy: Ctrl+C, paste: Ctrl+V).
  • In addition to function keys such as Ctrl, Shift, Alt, and Windows, a maximum of six common keys are supported. Function keys are not restricted.
  • When entering multiple common keys, you can drag them to adjust the sequence.

• c. Drag to save the key
  After entering a key, you can drag the input box to the specified key to save the key. As shown in the picture:

• d. Virtual keyboard
  Click the keyboard icon to open the virtual keyboard, and click the key to enter the key value.

• e. Output Mode
  Note: All device models have single and continuous output modes, while some device models also support retrigger and double trigger modes. Single: Outputs the key value only once when it is held down. Continuous: Continuously outputs the key value while it is held down. Retrigger: Pressing the key once results in multiple outputs. The number of outputs represents the number of times the key value is repeated. Setting the value to 0 means the key value will be output when pressed down and will stop when released. The speed parameter represents the interval between two key clicks, with a faster speed indicating a shorter interval.

• Double Trigger:
  Click the “OK” button to assign the input box value as the key value when it is pressed or released. In this mode, different key values will be output when the key is pressed or released. You can switch to the Mouse tab to configure mouse functions.
  String:
  The characters entered in the input box can be set as strings.
  When configuring the string function, ElfKey only supports English characters. The maximum length for ElfKey is 38 characters, including newlines which count as one character.
  Note: The string function can be saved by dragging the key value to the desired key position, similar to the keyboard function.

• Mouse:
  Mouse buttons, movement, and scroll wheel.
  The mouse features three buttons: left button, middle button, and right button, which can be configured as either single keys or multi-keys. Only clicks can be assigned, and no additional keys can be added. Refer to the image below:

• X: Represents horizontal mouse movement. The value ranges from -127 to 127. A negative number indicates leftward movement, and a positive num ber indicates rightward movement.

• Y: Represents vertical mouse movement. The value ranges from -127 to 127. A negative number indicates upward movement, and a positive num ber indicates downward movement.
  Scroll wheel: The mouse wheel can be set from -127 to 127. A negative number indicates scrolling down, and a positive number indicates scr olling up.
  Note: Retrigger and double trigger functions are the same as the keyboard functions.

• Media:
  Can be configured as multimedia shortcut keys and common shortcut keys.
  You can select a media function as prompted and assign it to a key for activation.
  Note: Some functions may need to be triggered within a media player or browser interface.

• Macro:
  A function is accomplished through a set of predefined action processing.
  You can set macros, record keyboard keys, mouse keys, and scrolls, and add them manually with mouse movements.

• Once:
  Execute the macro once.
  Loop until release key: press and repeat macro execution without release, and stop execution when release.
  Loop until any key press: click and repeat macro execution, click again to stop execution.
  Steps:

  • a. Create a new macro and name it
  • b. Open recording
  • c. Type predefined action processing
  • d. Selection mode
  • e. Close recording
  • f. Save the file to the device or export it

If you need to delete keys, adjust key sequence, or customize delay processing, please:

• a. Close recording
• b. Select the button you want to delete, and then delete
• c. Uncheck Use Fixed delay
• d. Custom deferred processing
  In addition, the delay can also use the actual delay time of the action, and the recorded action can be dragged to adjust the order. As shown below:

One-Click Open:
Save the file path or website domain name as the key value for quick opening.
You can select a file, folder, or enter the domain name in the input box and assign it to a key.
