The Honeywell Academy offers training courses for the HPS Honeywell Associate Certification program. This program allows students to demonstrate their mastery of critical courses related to Honeywell products. Honeywell Certified Associate (HCA) certification is awarded to students based on their successful completion of the training course and any required prerequisites. To obtain certification, students must also pass a comprehensive examination with a minimum score of 80%. The examination is proctored and closed book. It can be taken at Honeywell Academy facilities, following on-site training, or virtually. Students are given up to four hours to complete the examination, although it typically takes no more than 90 minutes. If a student fails the first examination, they have the opportunity to retake it within the next 30 days.

- Complete any prerequisite courses, such as EXP-23, before enrolling in the certification program.
- Register for the certification training course at Honeywell Academy.

In the event they fail the first examination, a second can be taken within the next 30 days.
