Introduction
The newest model in the Cobra Walkie-Talkie range and, notably, the smallest wearable two-way radio available, is the Cobra Chat Tag. The brand-new device features a distinctive circular form that quickly attaches onto users for comfortable, hands-free management. With its internal antenna, it offers incredibly clear sound in contrast to conventional two-way radios and has a long range of 12 miles. NOTE: Styrene, a chemical recognized to the State of California to cause cancer, is one of the substances that this product may expose you to.
With the Cobra ACT120 Chat Tag Wearable FRS Two Way Radio, instant messaging is much simpler! You can attach it to your collar, vest, waist, or other items of clothing with its distinctive circular design for convenient, swift push- to-talk radio communication.
Range: Up to 12 miles. The maximum range may vary and is based on unobstructed line-of-sight communication under ideal conditions.

Battery Low Indicator
Low power: Red LED flashes every 5 seconds. Voice prompt “Please charge” will be heard approximately 30 minutes before device automatically powers off.
Using Your Radio
Power Button
Press and hold Power button for 4 seconds to turn the radio on or off. Once the unit is on, Green LED ashes every 5 seconds.
Talk Button
- Press and hold the Talk button to communicate with others.
- The microphone should be about 6 inches from your mouth.
- When talking, speak in normal voice.
- Release the Talk button when you are finished talking and listen for a response from the other person.
- You cannot receive at the same time while pressing the Talk button. NOTE: Both radios must be on the same channel to communicate.
Channel Change
To change the channel, press and hold the + or – button until the current channel number prompted Then, press the + or – buttons to select your channel, and you can:
- fast press to skip voice prompting of every channel number
- press and hold for fast skipping
It will exit the channel selection mode if there is no + or – button pressing for 5 sec. Or simply press Power button or Talk button once to return to standby mode immediately.
Volume/Channel (+) and (–) Buttons Press the + or – button to increase or decrease the volume. There are 12 different volume levels.
Battery Information
The battery is not charged before delivery, so please charge the battery for your first use. If the battery is not used for a long time or the battery is used up, please charge it before use. Charge/discharge for twice or three times alternately to achieve its optimal performance.
Note:
- Do not cause any short circuit on the battery or throw the battery into fire.
- When charging, please make sure the radio is powered off to guarantee it can be fully charged.
- Do not leave the radio or battery on the charger after it is fully charged. Unnecessary constant charging will shorten the battery life.
- Do not put the fully-charged battery to re-charge, or it may shorten the battery life.
- Please try to keep the battery in an indoor environment at around 25°C. The battery may get easily spoiled after being kept in the environment below -10°C for a long time.
- In temperatures higher than 35°C or below -10°C, the dischargeable power of the battery may decrease due to the physical property of lithium battery.

Your wireless handheld portable transceiver contains a low power transmitter. When the talk button is pushed, it sends out radio frequency (RF) signals. The device is authorized to operate at a duty factor not to exceed 50%. How to tell if they are charging?
Both walkie talkies include a front-facing light that turns on when you plug them in. When fully charged, it turns green from red while charging. If there is no light, they must be broken.
How do you know if both are on the same channel?
The channels can be chosen and modified as necessary. Really easy
Can you disable the roger beep?
No, you can’t disable the beep.
Are these batteries replaceable in case they quit accepting a charge?
We would offer you warranty if you had any problems with your ACT120B in terms of their not taking a charge. Your ACT120B would be replaced with a brand-new one.
How do i remove the battery for airline travel?
To turn off and on at the same time, press and hold the power button for 4 seconds. The batteries don’t have to be taken out.
