Product Usage Instructions

  1. Download the Jabra Sound+ app for your smartphone and Jabra Direct software for your computer.
  2. Connect the Bluetooth headset to your device by following these steps:
  3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on the headset.
  4. Make sure the Bluetooth adapter is in the pouch.
  5. Cycle between ANC/HearThrough modes using the designated button.
  6. Use the volume buttons to adjust the volume and control music playback.
  7. Press the mute button to mute the microphone during calls.
  8. Answer or end calls using the designated button.
  9. For Microsoft Teams control, refer to the user manual for specific instructions.
  10. For charging, use the provided wireless charging zone or connect the USB cable to a suitable power source. Follow the instructions in the user manual for charging status indicator lights and usage during charging.
  11. Refer to the user manual for any additional features or controls of the Bluetooth headset.

Please read carefully through these Safety Guidelines prior to using this product. For your protection and comfort, GN Audio A/S and GN Audio USA Inc. (“GN”) has implemented protective measures in this product designed to maintain safe volume levels and ensure that the product operates in compliance with government safety standards. AUDIO PRODUCT WARNING!
PERMANENT HEARING LOSS MAY RESULT FROM LONG-TERM EXPOSURE TO SOUNDS AT HIGH VOLUMES. USE AS LOW A VOLUME AS POSSIBLE.
This product might be capable of delivering sounds at loud volumes and high- pitched tones. You can reduce the risk of hearing damage by following these safety guidelines:

  1. Prior to using this product follow these steps.
    • Before using the product, turn the volume control to its lowest level;
    • Put the headset on, if applicable;
    • Slowly adjust the volume control to a comfortable level.
  2. 2. During the use of this product
    • Keep the volume at the lowest level possible, if increased volume is necessary, adjust the volume control slowly;
    • If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, immediately discontinue using the product. With continued use at high volume, your ears may become accustomed to the sound level, which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable discomfort.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION!

  • If you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical devices, consult your physician before using this product.

  • Always keep the product out of reach from children! The packaging material contains small parts that may cause choking if ingested.

  • Never try to dismantle the product or accessories yourself, and do not replace components or push objects into the product. Only authorized dealers or service centres may open the products.

  • If the product is a corded product, avoid putting unnecessary tension or strain on the cord, including rolling the cord around the body of the product, as this could damage the product.

  • If any non-removable parts of your product require replacement for any reason, contact your dealer.

  • Please be cautious to keep all products, cords, and other accessories in a safe operating environment and avoid exposing your product to rain, moisture or other liquids (if not designed for this use).

  • If the product has ear tips, the ear tip should rest against, but not enter the ear canal.

  • If the product overheats, has been dropped and damaged, has damaged cord or plug, or has been dropped in a liquid, then discontinue its use and contact GN.

  • Observe all signs and instructions that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas such as hospitals or aircrafts.

  • Dispose of the product according to local standards and regulations (see www.blueparrott.com/weee, or www.jabra.com/weee).

  • Use of a headset will impair your ability to hear other sounds. Use caution when you are engaging in activities that requires your full attention e.g. traffic.
    Remember: Always drive safely, avoid distractions and follow local laws!

  • The use of a speaker while operating a motor vehicle may be regulated by local laws. Using a headset while operating a motor vehicle, motorcycle, watercraft or bicycle may be dangerous, and is illegal in some jurisdictions, just as use of a headset with both ears covered while driving is not permitted in certain jurisdictions.

BUILT-IN BATTERY CARE: Please observe the following if the product contains a battery

  • The battery can be charged and discharged up to 500 hundred times but will eventually wear out.
  • If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.

  • “Caution” – The battery used in this product may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Batteries may explode if damaged.
  • Dispose of replaceable batteries according to local regulations. Please recycle when possible. Do not dispose as household waste or in a fire as they may explode.

CHARGER CARE

If product is charged with a USB cable, use only a suitable USB cable which is in good condition, and charge/power the product according to the instructions. Please observe the following if, the product is provided with a charger:

  • Do not attempt to charge/power your product with anything other than the charger provided. The use of any other types may damage or destroy the product and could be dangerous. Use of other chargers may invalidate any approval or warranty. For availability of approved enhancements, please check with your dealer.
  • “Caution” – Ensure that the charger is easily accessible and please be cautious when connecting/disconnecting the charger to/from the power outlet. When you disconnect the power cord, pull the plug, not the cord.
  • Important: Please refer to the user manual for a description of the charging status indicator lights. Some products cannot be used while charging.

MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the product or charger before cleaning.
  • Clean the product by wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The cord and charger may only be dry-dusted. DECLARATIONS

Warranty

Limited one (1) year warranty warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. In addition to the limited (1) year warranty, a limited (2) year dust- and water resistance warranty applies against product fail as a direct result from regular exposure to dust and water, ie. rain, splashes etc. The limited (2) year warranty applies from the time of the purchase from an authorized reseller. The limited (2) year warranty further requires that the product is registered with Jabra through the included Jabra Sound+ app. Exempt from warranty are limited-life consumable components subject to normal wear and tear, e.g. ear gel, ear hook and other accessories. FCC Warning
