Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up the L.O.V.E. PhoneTM

1. Ensure you have an internet (Wi-Fi) connection.
2. Make sure your phone has at least 33% battery charge.
3. Activate your L.O.V.E. SIMTM card by visiting www.TheLovePhone.com. Log into the user center and access Account Management.
4. Activate your account username and password.
5. Activate the network and internet connection on your L.O.V.E. PhoneTM.

Installing the SIM Card

1. Use the SIM ejector tool to open the SIM slot.
2. Take out the SIM card tray.
3. Insert your L.O.V.E. PhoneTM SIM card into SIM slot one.

Protect your screen

The L.O.V.E. Phone™ comes with a pre-applied protector that helps prevent screen scratches. The pre-applied screen will not prevent screen cracks from physical damage.
To protect the screen against physical damage, make sure to apply the screen protector. To do so, follow these steps:

1. First, remove the thin pre-applied screen protector.
2. Next, use the wet wipe to clean the surface.
3. Use the dry wipe after to ensure no moisture remains on the surface.
4. You can apply your new screen protector.

Aside from providing strong physical protection for your screen, the screen protector will also enhance your privacy by restricting visual access to bystanders, ensuring that only you are able to see what’s on your screen while in use.

3. Plugin your phone and ensure you have at least 33% Battery charge.

SIM card installation

The L.O.V.E. Phone™ comes complete with two SIM card slots. You can use multiple SIM cards of your choosing at any time, including your L.O.V.E. SIM™ card.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Use the SIMeject tool to open the SIM slot.
2. Take out the SIM card tray and insert your L.O.V.E. Phone™ SIM card into SIM slot one.
3. Insert the SIM tray back into the device.
4. You can use SIM slot two (2) for a second SIM, or a micro SD card.

Safety

Please observe the following safety guidelines when using your L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™

• Operating temperature
  Do not store your device at temperatures lower than -20°C or higher than 55°C, even if the device is turned off. Do not use your device at temperatures lower than -10°C or higher than 45°C.

• In-vehicle use
  Always stay in compliance with local traffic laws and regulations regarding mobile phone use while operating a vehicle. Do not rest your device on top of an airbag. Always secure your device while in a moving vehicle.

• Airport and in-air use
  Your device con safely poss through X-ray machines at airport security. While in flight, follow all posted and verbal instructions regarding safe in-air use of mobile devices.

• Hazardous environments
  Do not use your device in areas where a spark may ignite a fire or explosion. Follow posted signs regarding safe mobile phone use.

• Use near medical devices
  Your device emits electronic fields as port of normal operation. These fields may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers. Consult with the medical device manufacturer and/or your physician regarding the safe use of your device near medical equipment.

• Safe volumes
  To prevent possible hearing loss, do not listen to audio on your device at high volume levels for prolonged periods of time.

Please observe the following safety guidelines when using your L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™

1. Use only a USB Type-C cable to connect and charge your L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™. The power adapter provided with your mobile device is compatible with most power outlets and can be used globally.

2. Avoid exposing your L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™ to liquids or overly hot heat sources. These may cause considerable damage to your device or cause the
   battery to explode.

3. Handle your L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™ with care. Dropping your device may crack the display or cause other internal damage.

4. Do not attempt to open the back panel or replace the battery of the L.O.V.E. Encrypted Smartphone™. Attempting to open the back panel or replace the battery will void the warranty of your device. Repairs of this nature should be performed only by authorized repair professionals.

Correct disposal of your device

This symbol implies that your L.O.V.E.™ Encrypted Smartphone and/or its battery must be disposed of separately from household waste and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • The L.O.V.E. Phone™ provides you with your own private US phone number and allows you to make phone calls to anywhere in the world, without incurring any network usage fees, as long as you are connected to the internet. The Softphone-like L.O.V.E. Phone™ allows you to call any phone number, including landlines, and is not restricted to devices within the same network or hardware system. The L.O.V.E. Phone™ feature functions as a secondary phone that is built right into The L.O.V.E. Phone™ Encrypted Smartphone.

• What is a SoftPhone?

  • A SoftPhone is software that allows users to make telephone calls over the internet, like iMessage or FaceTime.

• How do I use the L.O.V.E. Phone™ feature?

  • The L.O.V.E. Phone™ feature has all the functionality of a regular smartphone call but uses Wi-Fi rather than a traditional cellular network. Just push the L.O.V.E. Phone™ button to make a call over the internet, as you would a normal phone call.

• How do I install a SIM card into The L.O.V.E. Smartphone™ ?

  • The left side of the phone has a SIM card port. Open the port using the reset pin tool that is provided within the packaging of The
    L.O.V.E. Phone™. Simply take out the SIM card tray and insert your L.O.V.E. SIM card into the phone.

• Does the L.O.V.E. Smartphone™ come with 2 SIM card ports?

  • Yes, L.O.V.E. Smartphones™ have two SIM card ports and are unlocked. You are able to use a L.O.V.E. SIM™ card and another SIM card of your choosing simultaneously, should you wish to do so.

• How do I charge my L.O.V.E. Smartphone™?

  • Use only a USB Type-C cable to connect and charge your L.O.V.E. Smartphone™.

• What are the camera specifications?

  • The L.O.V.E. Phone™ offers a 48MP+8MP+5MP rear camera.

• Where are the volume buttons?

  • You will find the volume up and volume down buttons on the right side of the device.

• Where is the power button?

  • On the right side of the L.O.V.E. Smartphone™, adjacent to the volume buttons, you will find the power button.

• How do I take a screenshot / screen capture on my  The L.O.V.E. Phone™?

  • Simply press and hold the power button. A menu to the right of your phone’s screen will pop-up. Click the “screenshot” button and your screenshot will be saved to your phone.

• How do I use the screen lock feature?

  • L.O.V.E. Phone™ can be unlocked using a PIN of your choosing, or via fingerprint recognition.

• Where can I download more apps for the L.O.V.E. Smartphone™?

  • L.O.V.E. Secure OS™ leverages Aurora OSS, an app store with 60,000+ of your favorite apps.

• Will L.O.V.E.™ warn me if I am about to use an app that will compromise my privacy?
