Product Usage Instructions
- Prepare the installation area by cleaning and ensuring it is free from any debris.
- Apply Sika Activator Anti-Corrosion P120 on the designated areas marked as A and B.
- Attach the M6 x 18 mm DIN 9021 A2 screws (6 pieces) to the L1 and H1 sections.
- Install the M6 x 9 x 14 mm Blind rivet nuts (8 pieces) on the marked areas.
- Attach the M6 SCHNORR ZN washers (8 pieces) to the designated areas marked as C.
- Secure the M6 x 16 DIN 603 A2 screws (4 pieces) to the L2 and H2 sections.
- Tighten the M6 DIN 985 A2 nuts (6 pieces) to ensure a secure fit.
- Use the M6 x 16 mm DIN 965 – TX30 A2 screws (2 pieces) to fasten the awning adapter.
- Secure the awning using the M6 x 20 DIN 7985 – TX30 A2 screws (8 pieces).
- Place the M6 nut caps (6 pieces) on top of the nuts for a finished look.
- Use the 4.2 x 16 DIN 7504N – TX20 A2 screws (4 pieces) to complete the installation.
- Tighten all screws and nuts to a torque of 6 Nm.
- Double-check all connections and make sure everything is properly aligned.
- The awning adapter is now ready for use with your Ford Tourneo or Transit Custom.
