UNPACKING Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included.
Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
DO NOT discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.

ASSEMBLY

Lithium 40v Power Adapter

Banana Plugs with Alligator Clips

  1. Power
    The StrikeMaster® Power Adapter is powered by a StrikeMaster® 40v Lithium-Ion battery pack. (Image 1)

  2. Slide battery into Power Adapter using the channels on both sides as a guide, pressing down until you hear it click into place then turn the master power switch to the ON position. (Image 2)

  3. USB Power Outlets
    Both USB A and C outputs can be used to charge other devices that operate with DC electrical current up to 5v at 1A maximum output. **(Image 3)


  4. 12v Positive and negative output terminals can be connected to a device that operates on 12-volt power up to a 10-amp current draw. Connect via banana plug and alligator clip. (Image 4)

BEFORE OPERATING UNIT
Please read this section carefully. Read entire operating and maintenance instructions. Failure to follow instructions could result in injury or death. Operate the machine according to the safety instructions outlined here and inserted throughout the text. Anyone who uses this machine must read the instructions and be familiar with the controls.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • DO NOT allow children to operate this unit. Do not allow adults to operate the unit without proper instruction.
  • DO NOT operate any power equipment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • DO NOT use this product for other than its intended purpose.
  • DO NOT use attachments other than those available from StrikeMaster®.
  • DO NOT alter this product in any manner; doing so is dangerous and will void the warranty.
  • DO NOT continue to use this product in the event of mechanical failure.

Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. SAFETY AND WARNING DECALS
The following contents of markings and labels are applied to the product, in addition to those shown in the rest of the original operating instructions.

CAUTION
Charge StrikeMaster Lithium 40v 5 amp hour rechargeable batteries (Model# LFV-B or LFV-BCA) only using the StrikeMaster® Charging Base (Model# LFV-CB or LFV-CBCA) or Power Station (LFV-40VPS). Other types of batteries may burst causing injury to persons or damage.

CAUTION
Risk of electric shock. Read and understand the owner’s manual before use. Only charge rechargeable batteries (Model# LFV-B or LFV-BCA) with the Battery Charging Base (Model# LFV-CB or LFV-CBCA). Charging batteries not designed for this Battery Charging Base can cause personal injury or death. If any part of the Battery Charging Base is damaged, the complete Battery Charging Base must be replaced.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, read and understand the owner’s manual before use. Crushing, disassembly, shorting of terminals or burning can cause personal injury or death. If Battery is not used correctly burns, explosion, and or fire are possible. Charge only with Battery Charging Base (Model# LFV- CB or LFV-CBCA). Do not discard battery into garbage can.

  • Know your Power Adapter. Read owner’s manual carefully. Learn its applications and limitations, as well as the specific potental hazards related to this Power Adapter. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
  • DO NOT place Power Adapter or Batteries near fire or heat. This will reduce the risk of explosion and possibly injury.
  • DO NOT crush, drop or damage Battery. Do not use a Battery or Battery Charging Base that has been dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged Battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a damaged Battery immediately.
  • Batteries can explode in the presence of a source of ignition, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the presence of open flame. An exploded battery can propel debris and chemicals. If exposed, flush with water immediately.
  • DO NOT charge Battery in a damp or wet location. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Keep Battery dry for best performance and longevity. Your Battery must be charged in a location where the temperature is more than 35°F/2°C, but less than 100°F/38°C. To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, do not store Battery outside or in vehicles.
  • Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery leakage may occur. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets into your eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes, then seek immediate medical attention. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. REFER TO THEM FREQUENTLY AND USE THEM TO INSTRUCT OTHERS WHO MAY USE THIS POWER ADAPTER. IF YOU LOAN SOMEONE THIS POWER ADAPTER, LOAN THEM THESE INSTRUCTIONS ALSO TO PREVENT MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT AND POSSIBLE INJURY.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

  • Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
  • DO NOT expose Power Adapter to rain or wet conditions.
  • If operating a Power Adapter or accessories in a damp location is unavoidable, use a RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE (RCD) protected supply.

PERSONAL SAFETY

  • Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source, picking up or carrying the Power Adapter.
  • If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
  • Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.

BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE

  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
  • Use Power Adapter only with specifically designated Battery.
  • When Battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery, avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

KNOW YOUR POWER ADAPTER

  1. The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the product and in this owner’smanual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before using this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.

MAINTENANCE/STORAGE

CLEANING THE MACHINE
NOTE
Keep the air vent free of blockage, dust, and debris. Do not spray, wash or submerge in water.

  • Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a vacuum.
  • Clean housing and the plastic components with a dry, soft cloth.

STORAGE
Remove the battery pack before you store the Power Adapter and disconnect the charger from power source.
Be sure to charge battery pack prior to long term-storage.
CYCLE
One complete use from full charge to no charge. If used to 75% charge, it counts as 25% of cycle.
TRANSPORTING YOUR POWER ADAPTER
Remove the Battery when transporting the Power Adapter.
LONG-TERM STORAGE
If your Power Adapter will not be run for more than one month, prepare it for long-term storage.

  1. Charge the battery to full and leave it off of the Power Adapter. DO NOT leave the Battery in the Power Adapter.
  2. Remove all debris from the Power Adapter.
  3. Keep in a dry, moisture-free area.

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

OWER ADAPTER WARRANTY
StrikeMaster ® hereby warranties this product, to the original purchaser with proof of purchase,
for a period of two (2) years against defects in materials, parts or workmanship. StrikeMaster, at its own discretion will repair or replace any and all parts found to be defective, through normal use, free of charge to the customer. This warranty is valid only for units which have been used for personal use that have not been hired or rented for industrial/ commercial use, and that have been maintained in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual supplied with the product from new.

ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

  1. Any part that has become inoperative due to misuse, commercial use, abuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, or alteration; or
  2. The unit, if it has not been operated and/or maintained in accordance with the owner’s manual; or
  3. Normal wear, routine maintenance, normal deterioration of finish due to use or exposure.

TRANSPORTATION CHARGES
Transportation charges for the movement of any power equipment unit or attachment are the responsibility of the purchaser. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to pay transportation charges for any part submitted for replacement under this warranty unless such return is requested in writing by StrikeMaster®.
