BASIC WEIGHING AND TOTALISING
The COMPULOAD CL6000 is designed to weigh a sea container when lifted by a
Reach Stacker.
This system has been setup to weigh in Dynamic Weighing Method (as the load is
lowered). The COMPULOAD CL6000 has been calibrated using Lift Speed
Compensation mode. This means that the CL6000 will weigh the load accurately
at a wide range of boom lower speeds. If the operator lowers either to fast or
to slow as to cause an inaccurate weight, the Compuload system will not allow
the lift and display “Lift Speed Error”. The CL6000 will weigh the container
as the magnet is lowered PAST the speed sensor.
Basic Weighing –
- Before weighing the CL6000 should be checked to ensure that the EMPTY FRAME is reading ZERO.
- Press the LOAD button to enable weighing.
- With the frame empty, retract the BOOM fully and raise the frame to its maximum height.
- If the screen says READY, lower the frame and a constant speed until the system shows a weight. If the screen shows RETRACT BOOM, the booms is not fully retracted and needs to be pulled in more.
- Once a weight is displayed press and hold ZERO until 0.0 is displayed.
- Press the LOAD button to enable weighing.
- Attach the container and raise the frame to its maximum height. Lower the frame at a constant rate until the system shows a weight.
- Enter the required information and press LOAD
NOTE: – Pressing ESC will cancel that lift.
TIPS FOR ACCURATE WEIGHING: –
While the COMPULOAD CL6000 is designed to weigh loads as the machine is operated and the load is lifted, some conditions may cause variations to the weight readings. Results can generally be improved by using care whilst weighing.
- Lift the container to an adequate height before beginning to lower. Maintain a smooth and constant lower speed until a weight reading is obtained.
- Machine must be stationary.
- While weighing have machine on a level surface
- Avoid excessive bounce while weighing.
- Regularly check the zero.
Entering Information

letters and the last 7 are numbers. The system will automatically switch from
alpha to numeric between the 4 th and th 5 digit.
The system will confirm if the number enter is a valid container number (OK).
If it is press LOAD to send the weight data. If and error is detected (err)
press CLEAR to re-enter the correct number OR if you want to accept an invalid
container number press LOAD twice.
