installation procedure for C4000/3000

Mount Ram mount

Steps:
A. Mount round Ram to machine
B. Mount 2 hole Ram base to printer
C. Assemble Ram parts together
A. Use M5 bolts with washers and nylock nuts. Do not drill ROPS/FOPS. Most common installation point is under the C4000 itself. Drill two holes and bolt direct to C4000 bracket/T bracket
B. Use the supplied M3 bolts with washers and locking washer to bolt mount to rear of printer.
C. Connect the Ram Arm to each ball mount.

Connect Cable

Steps:
A. Locate the C4000 junction box
B. Route printer cable from the printer to the junction box
C. Confirm LK1 is soldered
D. Connect printer cable
E. Seal junction box
A. Locate the junction box by following the cable from the C4000 back to the junction box.
It is normally behind a panel.
B. Route the printer cable to the junction box, following the C4000 cable.
C. Remove the 4 screws from the junction box and remove the lid, tear away the silicon sealing the box. Ensure LK1 on the back of the junction board is bridged with solder.
D. Connect the C4070 printer cable to the junction box. Strip the wires 4-5mm.
White = V+
Yellow = GND
Blue = Txd
Red = Rxd
Green is not used
Black is not used
E. Seal junction bx AFTER the printer has been tested. Secure the printer cable to the other cables for good cable relief and replace lid, insert 4 screws and reseal with Neutral cure silicon.

Configure printer

Steps:
A. Enable printer.
B. Set printer header
C. Test printer is working
A. Power up the Compuload and go to Function Printer ON/OFF (C4000 press FUNC 02) (C3000mk2 press FUNC press LOAD until Printer ON/OFF is shown.) Use UP/Down arrows to set to On or COPY. Press LOAD to save the change. Long press CLEAR to
exit functions.
B. Go to functions (C4000 press FUNC 70) (C3000 press FUNC then UP arrow immediately after) Enter code. Manufacturer code is 1755 and press LOAD. This code stops operators messing with settings that affect accuracy.
(C3000 press LOAD until Print Delay is displayed) Set the parameters to the following pressing LOAD to progress to the next function:
Print Delay = 1
Line Feed after print = 5
Print Header 1 = As desired (Company Name)
Print Header 2 = As desired (Company Phone Number or Loader Number eg WL7)
Leave the other fields as set and press LOAD until Function End is displayed.
C. Pickup a load of material in the bucket and weigh the load as normal. When the load is weighed and added to the total the printer will print. Long Press CLEAR to finish the docket. Tear up and away to remove the docket. Check all details.
