SHARP FP-J52M Air Purifier
Product Information
The Sharp Air Purifier FP-J52M / FP-J50M is designed to improve indoor air quality by combining multiple air treatment technologies. It features a Triple Filtration System along with Plasmacluster technology to effectively trap dust, decrease odors, reduce pollen and mold, as well as freshen the air.
Filter System: The air purifier draws in room air through the air inlet, circulates it through a Pre-Filter, a Deodorizing Filter, and a HEPA Filter inside the product, and then discharges it through the air outlet. The Pre- Filter traps dust and large particles, the Deodorizing Filter absorbs odors, and the HEPA Filter removes 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns and helps absorbodors. Some odors absorbed by the filters may break down over time, causing additional odors. If these odors persist, the filters should be replaced.

Please read before operating your new Air Purifier
The air purifier draws in room air through the air inlet, circulates it through a Pre-Filter, a Deodorizing Filter and a HEPA Filter inside the product, and then discharges it through the air outlet. The HEPA Filter can remove 99.97 % of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns that pass through the filter and also helps absorb odors. The Deodorizing Filter gradually absorbs odors as they pass through the filter. Some odors absorbed by the filters will break down over time, causing additional odors.Depending on usage conditions, and especially if the product is used in environments significantly more severe than a normal household, these odors may become noticeable sooner than expected. If these odors persist, the filters should be replaced.
NOTE
- The air purifier is designed to remove air-suspended dust and the odors.
- The air purifier is not designed to remove harmful gases such as carbon monoxide contained in cigarette smoke.
- The air purifier may not completely remove an odor if the source of the odor is still present.

- Noise level is measured based on the JEM 1467 standard of the Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association.
- The fan speed is automatically switched depending on the amount of impurities in the air and room brightness.
- The recommended room size is appropriate for operating the product of maximum fan speed. The recommended room size is an area in which a given amount of dust particles can be removed in 30 minutes (according to JEM1467).
- Room size in which approximately 7000 ions per cubic centimeter can be measured in the center of the room when the product is placed next to a wall, is running at MED mode settings, and is at a height of approximately 1.2 meters from the floor.
- The filter removes more than 99.97% of particles at least 0.3 microns in size (according to JEM1467).
Standby Power
When the product’s power plug is inserted in a wall outlet it consumes standby
power in order to operate electrical circuits. To conserve energy, unplug the
power cord when the product is not in use.
