Before first use

  1. Fill the kettle with water to the maximum water scale level lines.Cocinare Flow Gooseneck Kettle - First Use 1
  2. Place the kettle stably on the power base and close the lid.
  3. Turn the knob to adjust the preset temperature to 212ºF.Cocinare Flow Gooseneck Kettle - First Use 2
  4. Click the START button to turn on the kettle.
  5. Discard initially boiled water; this water should not be consumed.Cocinare Flow Gooseneck Kettle - First Use 3
  6. Your pour over kettle is ready for use.

Making Coffee

  2. Put the lid back on and ensure spout is not close to and/or facing a wall or cabinet.

  4. Press the START to start.

Avoid Misuse: Read Before Use!

  • The inner pot of the Cocinare Electric Kettle is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel and is BPA-free.
  • Clean the kettle by boiling it three times before first use.
  • It is recommended to descale the kettle at least once a week if you use it frequently.
  • Always descale the kettle after long periods of storage and before storing it again.
  • Do not exceed the water level line for safety precautions.

Why does my kettle have white or brown spots?

After boiling water, minerals such as calcium and magnesium ions may precipitate on the bottom of the kettle, forming limescale. The water quality in different regions may result in limescale of various colors, including white, yellow, and brown.

How can I keep my kettle clean?

It is recommended to descale your kettle at least once a week to remove mineral deposits from the water.

What is the scientific way to remove limescale from the kettle?

Follow these steps to remove limescale from your kettle: Step 1: Pour a mixture of 1 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water (1:2 ratio) into the kettle. Step 2: Bring the mixture to a boil and let it soak in the kettle for 2 hours. Step 3: Pour out the mixture and wipe off the limescale with a cloth. Step 4: Rinse the kettle with clean water and wipe it dry
