WHEN USING ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE OBSERVED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: WARNING! TO AVOID THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY, CAREFULLY READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING YOUR GOPOWER ELITE.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO NOT modify the plug in any way.
• Extension cords are not recommended for use with this product.
• Remove utensils prior to processing. Failure to remove may cause the jar to be damaged or to shatter which may cause personal injury.
• Blade assembly is sharp,handle with care. When handling the blade assembly, always hold it by the base.
• DO NOT blend hot liquids,doing so may cause excessive pressure build-up, resulting in risk of the user being burned.
• We do not recommend grinding in any of our Cups.
• Remove the Blades Assembly from the cup up on completion of blending. Do not store ingredients before or after blending them in the cup with the blade assembly attached. Some foods may contain active ingredients or release gases which will expand if left in a sealed container, resulting in excessive pressure buildup that can pose a risk of injury. For ingredient storage in the cup, use only spout lid to cover.
• DO NOT process dry ingredients without adding liquid to the cup. This product is not intended for dry blending
• To protect against electrical shock, do not submerge the appliance or allow the power cord to come into contact with water or any other liquid.
• DO NOT allow the appliance to be used by children. Close supervision is necessary when used near children. This is not a toy.
• Never leave an appliance unattended when in use.
• Remove the power cord from the electrical outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the electrical outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
• DO NOT abuse the power cord. Never carry the appliance by the power cord or yank it to disconnect from electrical outlet; instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. This appliance has no serviceable parts.
• DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces such as the stove.
• Always use appliance on a dry, level surface.
• Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils out of container while processing to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the appliance. A scraper may be used but only when the appliance is not running.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• DO NOT attempt to sharpen blades.
• DO NOT use the appliance if Blades Assembly is bent or damaged.
• To reduce risk of injury, never place the blade assembly on the base without the Cup properly attached.
• DO NOT operate this appliance on or near any hot surfaces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
• The use of attachments or accessories including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• DO NOT remove the cup from the motor base while the appliance is running.
• To reduce the risk of injury, NEVER operate the appliance without the Blade Assembly in place; DO NOT try to defeat the interlock mechanism; make sure that the attachment is properly installed before operating the appliance.
• DO NOT expose cups to extreme temperature changes.
• DO NOT overfill.
• DO NOT operate the appliance empty.
• If the appliance overheats, a thermal switch will become activated and shut o the motor. To reset, unplug the appliance and let it cool down for approximately 30 minutes before using again.
• THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.Do not use outdoors.
• Appliance accessories are not intended to be used in the microwave. Do not place the cup or the lid in the microwave as it may result in damage to the accessories.
• The blade assembly must be twist onto the bottle before put onto the power base. Do not put blade assembly alone onto the power base to avoid accidents or injuries.

QUICK START GUIDE

HOW IT WORKS

BLEND MODE

1. Add Ingredients: Fill chilled or room temperature ingredients (20°C / 70°F or cooler) into an included vessel without exceeding the 17oz(MAX) line.

2. Attach Blade: Twist on the Extractor Blade and tighten by hand to make sure vessel is sealed.

3. Push: Push assembly down, pressing Activator Tabs onto the Activator Buttons.
   

4. Blend: Extract for no longer than 1 minute. If more extraction is needed, wait 1 minute, then repeat the extraction process in 1 minute intervals, up to 3 times as needed.

5. Ready to Enjoy: Your perfectly blended cool treat awaits!
   

CAUTION:

• Do not run the Power Base in excess of 1 minute per interval. Do not run the Power Base for more than three 1-minute intervals without allowing it to cool for 2-3 minutes after the third extraction. Running the motor for more than 1 minute consecutively in any interval may result in permanent damage to the Power Base.
• Friction from the rotating blade when extracting can cause ingredients to heat and generate internal pressurein the sealed vessel. If the vessel is warm to touch, allow to cool before carefully opening pointed away from your body

USING YOUR SPOUT LID
The Spout Lid of your Sport Bottle is featuring a more ergonomic carry loop and keeping dirty fingers o the drinking surface. Simply twist cup lid to open and Sip!

TIPS FOR USING YOUR GOPOWER ELITE

PULSE TECHNIQUE
Because the Gopower Elite’s motor is so powerful, it emulsifies the ingredients when you blend. That is why when you want to make foods such as chunky salsa, or coarse chopped onions, the Pulse technique is key. Pulsing takes a tiny bit of getting used to, but once you get a feel for it, you’ll be a Pro in no time!

To Pulse, you simply press down on the Bottle very quickly and immediately release. For foods that you want coarsely chopped, a quick tap on the top of the Bottle is all you need. Then let the Blade come to a complete stop and tap again until you get the consistency you desire.

SHAKE TECHNIQUE
If you pack the ingredients down inside the Bottle, or do not add enough water, the results can increase the density of the mixture. This makes it hard for the ingredients toward the top of the Bottle to make it down to the Blade. If some of your ingredients are having a hard time making it down to the Blade, simply use the Shake Technique.

1. Remove the Bottle and Blade assembly from the Power Base.
   

2. With the Bottle and Blade assembly in hand, shake it like a cocktail shaker. Then put it back on the Power Base and operate as usual.

TAP TECHNIQUE
For really stubborn ingredients that are clinging to the side of the Bottle, simply use the Tap Technique.

1. Remove the Cup and Blade assembly from the Power Base.
2. Tap the Blade side of the Bottle/Blade assembly on the counter with just enough force to dislodge ingredients from the sides of the Bottle. Be careful not to tap too hard to avoid damaging the Bottle.
3. Return the Bottle and Blade assembly to the Power Base and resume blending. Repeat if necessary

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

RESETTING THE MOTOR THERMOSTAT
The blender features a unique safety system which prevents damage to the unit’s motor and drive system should you inadvertently overload your appliance. If the appliance is being overloaded, the motor will stop.

To reset the appliance, follow the resetting procedure below:

1. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove and empty the cup and ensure that no food is jamming the Blades Assembly.
3. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 30 minutes.
4. Re-install the cup onto the base and re-plug the appliance into the electrical outlet.
5. Proceed to use the appliance as before while making sure not to exceed the the capacity of 50 0ml.

Blender suddenly turns o  while running.| Unplug the blender and allow the blender to cool down for about 30 minutes.
Food is unevenly chopped.| Either you are chopping too much food at once, or you are not pulsing properly. Reduce the amount of food in the cup.
Blender produces a burning smell.| There may be a burning smell when using the blender for the first few times. This is normal.
Food is too finely chopped or too watery.| The food has been over processed. Use short pulses for best results. Press down on the cup in short intervals.
Cup is leaking.| Make sure that your lid or blade assembly is properly assembled to the cup. Turn the lid tightly clockwise.
Unit doesn’t turn on.| Make sure the unit is plugged in. Make sure the Blades Assembly is properly assembled to the cup and that it is not misaligned.
Unit doesn’t turn o .| Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and call customer service for support.
Doesn’t mix well.| Pulse ingredients for best results. Press down on the cup in short intervals for even blending and chopping. For frozen ingredients, pulse in short intervals of 2-5 seconds and repeat.
Lid/blade assembly will not properly align to the cup.| Set the cup on a level surface. Place the lid or Blades Assembly on top of the cup and align the threads so that the lid/blades sit flat on the cup. Twist clockwise so that the lid/blades evenly align to the cup until you have a tight seal.

CLEAN & MAINTENANCE YOUR GOPOWER

Cleaning the Gopower Elite is easy, simply place any of the pieces (except for the Power Base and Extractor Blade) on the top shelf of the dishwasher or hand wash with warm soapy water and rinse.

HERE’S HOW TO CLEAN THE GOPOWER ELITE:

• STEP 1: The most important thing — ALWAYS POWER OFF and UNPLUG the Power Base from the power supply outlet when it is left unattended, before assembling, disassembling, changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use or when cleaning. Do not attempt to handle the appliance until all parts have stopped moving!
• STEP 2: Make sure the Bottle/ Extractor Blade is not attached to the Power Base.
• STEP 3: Cleaning the individual components (Power Base, Extractor Blades, Sport Bottle) as follows:

POWER BASE:
For the most part, the Power Base doesn’t really get dirty, but if you neglect to twist the Extractor Blade on to the Bottle tightly, liquids can leak out and get into the base and stick to the activator buttons.

• Do not remove the rubber or plastic liners inside the Power Base.
• Use a sponge or dish cloth dampened with warm soapy water to wipe down the inside and outside of the Power Base until clean.
• Pay particular attention to the Actuator Tabs on the inside of the Power Base to loosen any sticky debris from drips and spills. If necessary, you may use a small brush to scrub the area to ensure it is kept clean.

EXTRACTOR BLADES:

• DO NOT REMOVE THE GASKET as this will permanently damage the Extractor Blade and cause leakage. If after washing as indicated above additional disinfecting is desired, you may rinse with a 10% vinegar/water solution or with lemon juice. If, over time, the gasket becomes loose or damaged, you may order a new Extractor Blade at www.cocinare.com or contact Customer Service at [email protected]
• Dry the Extractor Blade completely. It is helpful to turn the blade on its side in your dish drainer to ensure BOTH SIDES of the Extractor Blade are completely dried

GOPOWER ELITE SPORT BOTTLE, LIDS :

• The cup and lids are all TOP RACK dishwasher safe. We recommend rinsing them and giving them a quick brush with a dish brush to remove any dried debris before washing them in the dishwasher. NEVER use the sanitize cycle to wash the Bottle as this may warp the plastic.
• Regularly check the 3 tabs on the side of the Bottle (cracking, crazing, breakage or rounding). If damaged, replace immediately to prevent possible personal injury.
• NEVER USE A BOTTLE WITH A BROKEN TAB AS DOING SO MAY CAUSE THE CUP AND POWER BASE TO SEPARATE EXPOSING THE BLADE ASSEMBLY!

STUBBORN CLEAN UP
If ingredients dry inside the Gopower Sport Bottle, make your cleanup a snap by filling the Bottle about 2/3 full with room temperature (21°C/70°F or less) water and screw on the Extractor Blade. Place the Cup/Extractor Blade assembly on the Gopower Elite Power Base for about 20-30 seconds. This will loosen the stuck ingredients, and with a light scrub and rinse, you’ll be all finished.

GOPOWER ELITE WARRANTY

This blender does not have any user serviceable parts. Any servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative. Cocinare provides a two- year product warranty from the date of purchase for all our products. All products under warranty with quality-related issues will be provided a REPLACEMENT or FULL REFUND including any return shipping costs covered by Cocinare. Simply contact customer service at [email protected]

Please carefully follow our warranty process to minimize any delays:

1. Note the product model name. It can be found on a sticker located underneath or on the back of the product.
2. Provide order number for a purchase made through Amazon. Typical turn around time to address Warranty claims is 10 business days, depending on your geographical location and type of damage or Warranty claim.

This warranty does not apply to the following:

• Damage due to abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, or vandalism.
• Improper or inadequate maintenance.
• Damage in return transit.
• Unsupervised use by children under 18 years of age.

Cocinare and its subsidiaries assume no liability for damage caused by the use of the product other than for its intended use or as instructed in the user manual. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential losses so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
