RICH MOKA POT INSTRUCTION MANUAL

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

Make sure that the voltage printed on the “Technical Specifications” label of the Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot corresponds to the mains voltage of your location. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions caused by any  voltage differences and therefore, any potential malfunction will be out of warranty.
The Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot must only be plugged into a grounded socket outlet connected in accordance with the regulations. To prevent damage to your appliance, please do not use extension cables that do not provide enough current.
To avoid hazards, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cord must be carried out by authorized customer service personnel.
If repairs are necessary, please contact Arzum Customer Service. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions that may occur due to misuse and any malfunction that may occur for this reason will be treated outside the scope of the warranty.
To protect against electric shock, DO NOT clean and immerse machine and power cord in water.
Since the appliance is electrically powered, there is a risk of electric shock, so never touch the plug with wet hands.
This appliance must be used by persons who have been given information, supervision or instruction concerning its safe use and who understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance and the mains cable, nor must children be allowed to cook or clean the appliance without adult supervision. Keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
Caution: Keep all packaging materials away from children, as they are a potential source of danger that can lead to death by suffocation.

This appliance is intended for use in the home and similar locations, such as the following locations:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments,
• Farmhouses,
• Places used by customers in motels, hotels and other residential-type environments,
• Sleeping places and places where breakfast is served.

Do not use the appliance outdoors, always protect it from zero or sub-zero temperatures.
ALWAYS use Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot on flat and even surface. Do not place on the edge of a table or countertop, a small impact may cause your appliance to fall to the floor.
Please note that your appliance may be filled with hot coffee.
Do not use Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot on hot surfaces, near heat sources, open flames or flammable vapors. (Ex. hot stove top, radiator, stove, etc.) Make sure that the power cable does not hang from the table or worktop and does not come into contact with other appliances.
Do not leave Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot unattended and unattended while it is in operation.
When using your appliance for the first time, run it with only water in the pot with the mixer and pour this waste water out.
Do not start the coffee brewing process until you have poured water/milk into the coffee pot. There is water-secure security implementation in your appliance. In case operating without water, the appliance will shut off after a while and  will not be rerun until it cools down.
Do not use the coffee pot with mixer and the Moka pot in any heater other than this machine. (Ex: on oven, microwave oven etc.)
Serve the cooked drink in a cup, do not drink from a coffee pot or Moka pot with a mixer.
Always use the carrying handle to hold/carry the coffee pot with mixer and the Moka pot.
Please, unplug your appliance from the outlet before cleaning.
For detailed information on cleaning the appliance, please refer to the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Always unplug the Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot when it is not in use for a long period of time and/or in case of any malfunction and/or in case of a dangerous situation.
NEVER pull on the mains cable when unplugging the plug from the socket outlet; always pull by holding the plug itself.
When cleaning and servicing the appliance, make sure that the plug is not in the socket.
Only use the appliance in conjunction with the supplied power transmission base.

The values printed on the product or declared in printed documents are the values obtained in the laboratory according to the relevant standards. These values may vary according to the ambient conditions in which the product is used.

RICH COFFEE POT USE

For the ideal flavor, we recommend that you manually adjust the Auto Brewing Altitude Detection setting specified in the manual before the first use.
For your coffee to reach the ideal flavor, use your machine with the mixer in the coffee pot with mixer. Make sure that the mixer is fully seated to avoid splashing.
Wipe the main body of your appliance clean before first use. Wipe the outside of the coffee pot with mixer with a damp cloth. For the first use, fill the coffee pot with the mixer with water up to the MAX level, turn on the device and pour  this water and let the device cool down.
Your Arzum OKKA Rich coffee pot with mixer heats up during use, so do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
You can cook coffee for 1-5 people with Arzum OKKA Rich coffee pot with mixer. The maximum capacity for the milk mode is 4 cups.
When you plug in your machine and then press the On/Off button on the panel, all the LEDs on the panel will blink once with a beep sound and then all the LEDs will light up.
To brew Turkish coffee or Turkish coffee with milk, pour enough water or milk into the coffee pot with a mixer according to the number of people. Use the Arzum OKKA measuring spoon to add the desired amount of Turkish coffee. Add the desired amount of sugar. Make sure that the mixture in the coffee pot with mixer does not exceed the Max line inside the coffee pot. To prepare 1 cup of Turkish Coffee in milk mode; it is recommended to use 1 cup of milk and half a cup of Turkish coffee.
When you place the coffee pot with mixer on the power transmission  base and press the desired mode button, the selected mode light will illuminate and the other mode lights will turn off. When the brewing process starts, the mixer in the coffee pot with mixer will automatically mix your coffee. After the brewing process is finished, your device will give an audible warning for 5 seconds and the selected mode light will flash.
Never remove the coffee pot with mixer while brewing is in progress.
When you remove the coffee pot with mixer for any reason during the brewing process, the product will give an audible warning and all function buttons on the panel will turn off.
When the brewing process is finished, you can easily serve it by removing the pot.
Make sure to clean the coffee pot with mixer after each use. Do not wash the outer surface of the coffee pot with mixer under the tap, wipe it with a damp cloth. NEVER wash the coffee pot in the dishwasher.

AUTO BREWING ALTITUDE DETECTION SYSTEM SETTING
Arzum OKKA Rich Moka Pot has a smart “Auto Brewing Altitude Detection” system that detects the ideal brewing temperature at its location and enables you to make Turkish coffee with the same flavor anywhere in the world.
The boiling point of water depends on the difference in altitude relative to sea level. Therefore, when the altitude at which your appliance is used changes, you can manually adjust the brewing point of your appliance.
a. Plug the appliance into the socket.
b. Press the On/Off button on the panel.
c. All LEDs on the panel will flash and a double beep will sound.
d. Remove the coffee pot with mixer from the slot.
e. Press the Turkish Coffee and Milk Beverage buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
f. After the beep, the LEDs for the Turkish Coffee and Milk Beverage modes will start to flash, then the Manual Calibration mode will be active.
g. Pour water into the coffee pot with mixer up to the MAX line and insert the coffee pot with mixer into the slot.
h. Wait until your appliance brings the water in the pot with the mixer to the boil.
i. When the calibration process is finished, your device will beep for 5 seconds and the Turkish Coffee and Milk Beverages function LEDs will flash.
j. When you remove the coffee pot with mixer from its slot, your product will beep once and all the LEDs will go out.

BREWING TEMPERATURE SETTING
You can increase or decrease the degree of coffee brewing as you wish, bringing it to the desired temperature.
Increasing the temperature:

• Plug the product into the socket.
• Press the On/Off switch
• All LEDs on the panel will blink once. A double beep will then sound.
• Remove the coffee pot with mixer from the slot.
• Press the Turkish Coffee with Milk and Hot/Cold Milk Frothing buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
• After the beep, the LEDs for the Turkish Coffee with Milk and Hot/Cold Milk Frothing modes will start flashing and the manual brewing temperature setting mode will be active.
• You can increase the temperature by pressing the Turkish Coffee with Milk button. Each press of the button increases the temperature by 1°C.
• The maximum permissible temperature increase is 1°C. A double beep will sound when the limit is reached.

Temperature Reduction:

• Plug the product into the socket.
• Press the On/Off switch
• All LEDs on the panel will blink once. A double beep will then sound.
• Remove the coffee pot with mixer from the slot.
• Press the Turkish Coffee with Milk and Hot/Cold Milk Frothing buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
• After the beep, the LEDs for the Turkish Coffee with Milk and Hot/Cold Milk Frothing modes will start flashing and the manual brewing temperature setting mode will be active.
• You can reduce the temperature by pressing the Hot/Cold Milk Frothing button. Each press of this button reduces the temperature by 1°C
• The maximum permissible temperature drop is 3°C. A double beep will sound when the limit is reached.

BREWING (TURKISH COFFEE MODE)

1. Plug in your appliance.

2. Press the On/Off button on the panel.
   Note: For delicious coffee, make sure that the inside of the coffee pot with mixer is clean.
   Pay attention not to exceed water-coffee-sugar mixture or milk mixture beyond the MAX COFFEE level line in the coffee pot as the size of cups you are using may differ.
   Otherwise, the coffee may not cook well and/or may overflow from the coffee pot with mixer.

3. To prepare 1 cup of Turkish coffee; put 1 Arzum OKKA measuring spoon of Turkish coffee, 1 cup of water and the desired amount of sugar in a coffee pot with mixer.

4. Place the coffee pot with mixer in the machine.
   Note: If the coffee pot with mixer is missing or not in place, all LEDs on the panel will remain off, but the “No Rich Pot” warning light will remain on.

5. Press the Turkish Coffee button.

6. When the brewing mode is selected, a beep will sound and brewing will start with only the white LED for the selected brewing mode on.

7. When the brewing process is complete, your device will beep for 5 seconds and the LED light of the selected brewing mode will flash.

8. After brewing process has finished, you can serve your coffee by pouring into the cup.

9. If you remove the coffee pot with mixer before the end of the brewing process, the red “No Rich Pot” warning light will turn on, then your device will end the brewing process with a warning sound. If the coffee pot with the mixer is  put back into place after it has been removed, the brewing process will not continue.

Rich coffee pot is designed with a lid to prevent possible splashes. Please use the lid of the coffee pot during brewing.

BREWING (for TURKISH COFFEE with MILK MODE)

1. Plug in your appliance.

2. Press the On/Off button on the panel.
   As the cup size you are using may vary, make sure that the milk does not exceed the MAX MILK (120 ml) level line in the bowl. Otherwise the milk may overflow from the pot with the mixer.

3. Place the coffee pot with mixer in the machine.
   Note: If the coffee pot with mixer is missing or not in place, all LEDs on the panel will remain off, but the “No Rich Pot” warning light will remain on.

4. Press the Hot/Cold Milk Frothing mode button.

5. A beep will sound, the Hot/Cold Milk Frothing mode LED will turn orange and frothing will start.

6. When the frothing process is complete, your device will beep for 5 seconds and the LED of the selected brewing mode will flash.

7. After the frothing process is over, you can pour your milk into the glass and serve.

8. If you remove the coffee pot with mixer before the foaming process is finished, the red “No Rich Pot” warning light will turn on, all function lights will flash and your device will end the frothing process with a warning sound.
   When the coffee pot with mixer is put away and then put back, the frothing process does not continue.
   ** Rich coffee pot with mixer has a lid to prevent possible splashes.
   Please use during brewing.

For frothing cold milk;

1. Plug your device into an outlet.

2. Press the On/Off button on the panel.
   As the cup size you are using may vary, make sure that the milk does not exceed the MAX MILK (120 ml) level line in the bowl. Otherwise the milk may overflow from the pot with the mixer.
   3- Place the coffee pot with mixer in the machine.
   Note: If the coffee pot with mixer is missing or not in place, all LEDs on the panel will remain off, but the “No Rich Pot” warning light will remain on.

3. Press and hold the Hot/Cold Milk Frothing mode button for 1.5 seconds.

4. A beep will sound, the Hot/Cold Milk Frothing mode LED will turn blue and frothing will start.

5. When the frothing process is complete, your appliance will beep for 5 seconds and the LED and ambient light for the selected cooking mode will flash.

6. If you remove the coffee pot with mixer before the foaming process is finished, the red “No Rich Pot” warning light will turn on, all function lights will flash and your device will end the frothing process with a warning sound.

7. After the frothing process is over, you can pour your milk into the glass and serve.
   When the coffee pot with mixer is put away and then put back, the frothing process does not continue.
   ** Rich coffee pot with mixer has a lid to prevent possible splashes.
   Please use during brewing.

Moka POT MODE

Turn the Moka pot on and add cold or room temperature water to the water tank up to the MAX level.
Replace the coffee hopper. NEVER squeeze the coffee in, add it just enough to fill it.
After adding the coffee to the funnel, make sure that the coffee does not overflow outside the circle.
Note: When adding water to the water reservoir of the Moka pot, make sure that it does not exceed the MAX level line. Otherwise the coffee may not cook well and/or the Moka pot may overflow.
*Make sure the coffee used is fine or medium ground.
**Before using the Moka pot, make sure it is clean and tightly sealed after adding the ingredients.
Make sure that the valve and the temperature warning icon are aligned with each other to ensure a tight seal.

1. Plug your device into an outlet.

2. Press the On/Off button on the panel.

3. Place the Moka pot in the machine.
   Note: If the Moka pot is not in place or not seated, the Moka mode light on the panel will remain off, but the “No Rich Pot” warning light will remain on.

4. Press the Moka Pot mode button.

5. A beep will sound and the white LED for the Moka Pot mode will flash rapidly and the brewing process will start.
   Note: If you prefer to prepare a coffee with milk/milk foam;
   • You will hear the first warning tone during the coffee brewing process.
   • With this sound, you need to place your coffee pot with mixer in its place.
   • Add the milk into the coffee pot with mixer. Press the “Milk Heating mode” or “Hot/Cold Milk Frothing mode” button, depending on your preference.
   • While your coffee is brewing in the Moka Pot, you can also heat and froth milk at the same time.
   *If the Moka pot is put back after it has been removed, the cooking process will not continue.

6. When the coffee brewing process is complete, the device will emit a second beep for 5 seconds and the LED for the selected brewing mode will flash.

7. If you remove the Moka pot before the end of cooking, the red warning light and all function lights will flash. Then your device will end the cooking process with a warning sound.

8. After the brewing process is over, you can serve your coffee in a cup.
   

*ATTENTION!
Since the Moka pot can be very hot during and after brewing, it should not be placed on surfaces that can be damaged by high temperatures and should be kept away from these surfaces.
The Moka pot should not be used on any other product other than the OKKA Rich Moka Pot energy transmission base or on a gas/electric stove. For your safety, please take care to hold the Moka pot by the handle during use. ( )
** Please keep the lid of the Moka pot closed while cooking.

CLEANING and MAINTENANCE CLEANING and MAINTENANCE of THE COFFEE POT with

MIXER

Please, unplug your appliance from outlet before cleaning. Pour some water into the coffee pot and shake it.
NEVER clean the coffee pot with mixer by immersing it in water or washing it in the dishwasher.
Wipe the main body of your appliance (the base of the appliance), which is outside the coffee pot and contains the energy transmission base, only with a dry or damp cloth and NEVER clean it by immersing it in water or washing it in the  dishwasher.
You can use the cleaning brush included in the product box to clean the inner surface of the coffee pot with mixer.
Do not clean any accessories of your machine using harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.) other than the cleaners used for this type of equipment. Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal objects, scratching hard sponges, wire  cleaners or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

Cleaning Tips After Preparing Turkish Coffee and Milk Beverages with Coffee Pot with Mixer
You can also brew milky beverages such as milk coffee, hot chocolate and salep in our product. After brewing such beverages, rinse the coffee pot with water.
The coffee pot rinsed with water will cool down a bit. Then remove the stirring apparatus inside and wipe the inside of your coffee pot with a soft cloth such as a dishwashing sponge to easily clean the residue without using detergent-type chemicals. You may wash the removed mixing apparatus under the tap.
Replace the cleaned apparatus and make the product ready for use.
Make sure that the apparatus is fully seated. If it is not fully seated, it may cause splashing.
The cleaning of the residue/crust may vary depending on the material used, the amount of material and the waiting time after brewing.
Removing Calcification
Lime inside the water used in time may pile up inside the coffee pot and thus may reduce the performance of your appliance. You can clean the coffee pot of your appliance with decalcifying products specially designed for electric kitchen  appliances or try eco-friendly solutions such as white vinegar. To clean the coffee pot of your appliance with white vinegar; add enough white vinegar to the appliance to cover the bottom of the coffee pot and leave it for 1 hour, then drain  the vinegar and rinse the coffee pot 2-3 times with clean water.

Moka POT CLEANING and MAINTENANCE
Please, unplug your appliance from outlet before cleaning. Wait for the Moka pot to cool completely. Clean with warm water without detergent after each use.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal objects, scratching hard sponges, wire cleaners or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
NEVER clean the Moka pot by washing it in the dishwasher.
**Do not clean with chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.).
After cleaning the appliance, let each part of the Moka pot dry separately until it is completely dry.

HANDLING and SHIPMENT

Your device should be kept in its original box to prevent damage to its components during handling and shipping.
Keep the product in its normal position during handling.
Do not drop your device during shipping and protect against impacts.
Failures and damages during shipping  the delivery of the product to the customer are not covered by the warranty.
