Product Usage Instructions:

Installation Overview: Before installing and operating the product, please read the user manual carefully.

Tools Needed for Lock Installation: Refer to the user manual for a list of tools required for installing the lock on the door.

Test the Lock: After installation, lock and unlock using the turn knob to ensure the latch is opening and closing easily. If not, review the installation steps and make sure they were followed correctly.

Install Batteries: Insert 4 high-quality alkaline AA batteries into the electronic lock. Make sure to follow the correct polarity. When all batteries are installed correctly, a short tone sequence should be heard, and the keypad will illuminate blue. Do not touch the keypad until the white light turns off. Do not use rechargeable or non-alkaline batteries.

Install Enclosed Latch and Strike Plate: Install the latch and strike plate as per the provided instructions. Do not over-tighten the latch screws and ensure that the cylindrical cover does not extend more than 2-3/4 (70mm).

Install Exterior Assembly: Make sure that the latch is extended before installing the exterior assembly. If the latch is retracted, insert a screwdriver and rotate it towards the door edge.

Install Interior Assembly: With the door open, install the interior assembly. Be careful not to pinch the wire during installation. Ensure that the thumb knob is in the vertical position and the latch is extended.

Convert from 2-3/8 (60mm) Backset to 2-3/4 (70mm)

Backset: Follow the provided instructions to convert the backset if needed.

Straighten Latch Plate: Make sure that the latch plate on the door is straight and not protruding. Adjust it before installation to prevent problems with the bolt fitting into the latch hole.

Preparation for Interior Assembly: Screw the mounting post into the holes on the mounting plate.

Insert Exterior Assembly: Insert the exterior assembly onto the door with the tailpiece going through the latch in the horizontal position.

Connect Control Wires: Carefully connect the control wires until they securely fit together. Make sure the connector dots line up with the dots on the control wire.

Override Key Access (Optional): If available, insert the override access key into the slot on the bottom of the lock. Turn the key to engage the clutch, then rotate the knob to unlock.

Read this manual carefully before installing and operating!
Install Enclosed Latch and Strike Plate
NOTE: Do not extend Cylindrical Cover past 2-3/4” (70mm)
TO CONVERT FROM 2-3/8” (60mm) BACKSET TO 2-3/4” (70mm) BACKSET
- Hold latch with “UP” facing forward and thumb pressing on the bolt.
- Rotate the cylinder clockwise.
- Twist the extension plate until it is all the way out.
The latch plate on the door needs to be straight and not protruding from door. Make adjustment before installing or this will cause problems with bolt tting into latch hole. Preparation for Interior Assembly
Screw Mounting Post (J) into holes on Mounting Plate (C).
Install Exterior Assembly
Make sure that the latch is EXTENDED. If it is retracted insert the screw
driver and rotate towards the door edge.
Insert the Exterior Assembly onto the door with the Tailpiece going through
the Latch in the HORIZONTAL POSITION.
Carefully connect the control wires until they securely fit together.
NOTE: Make sure the
connector dots line up with the dots on the control wire
Install Interior Assembly
Work with the door open
Be careful not to pinch wire when installing
Make sure the thumb knob is in the vertical position and latch is extended.
Remove battery cover
Secure with included 1 3/8” screws
Test the Lock
Lock and unlock using the turn knob to make sure the latch is opening and
closing easily. If not, go back to step 4 and ensure you followed the steps
This Electronic lock requires (4) High Quality AA Alkaline batteries. When all
4 batteries are installed in the correct position, you should hear and short
tone sequence and the keypad will illuminate blue.
NOTE: Do not touch the Keypad until the white light turns off. Do not use
rechargeable batteries or non-alkaline batteries.
Lock and unlock using the turn knob to make sure the latch is opening and
closing easily. If not, go back to step 4 and ensure you followed the steps.
Install Batteries

Override Key Access (Optional)
Insert override access key into slot on the bottom of the lock.
Turn key to engage clutch. Rotate Knob to unlock.

Electronics Warranty
This product comes with a limited lifetime mechanical and finish warranty and
a one year limited electronics warranty to the original residential consumer
against defects in material and workmanship under normal use as long as the
original residential purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which
the product was originally installed.
ORIGINAL RESIDENTIAL CONSUMER
This warranty is not transferable, and applies to the original purchaser only,
as long as the original purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which
the product(s) was originally installed. Proof of purchase (original sales
receipt) and ownership must accompany all warranty claims. All non-homeowner
purchasers (including purchasers for industrial, commercial and business use)
are not covered under the terms of this warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty is null and void if the product was used for purposes for which
it was not designed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear of
parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use, misuse or
abuse of the product, or use contrary to or in violation of written
instructions provided by LH Licensed Products, Inc. Further, this warranty
does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
This warranty DOES NOT COVER scratches, abrasions, deterioration due to the
use of paints, solvents or use of cleaners containing abrasives, alcohol or
other solvents, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or
yourself. This warranty DOES NOT COVER product(s) used in commercial
applications, used in common area applications, disassembly, repair or
alteration by anyone other than LH Licensed Products, Inc., improper
installation or exposure to extremes of heat or humidity. This warranty DOES
NOT COVER any losses, injuries to persons or loss of property, general damages
or costs, and shipping and freight expenses required to return product(s) to
LH Licensed Products, Inc. LH Licensed Products, Inc. shall not be liable for
any indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any nature relating to
this lock. LH Licensed Products, Inc. is also not responsible for costs
associated with removing or reinstalling the product.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
LH Licensed Products, Inc. does not authorize any person to create for it any
obligation or liability in connection with the Product. LH Licensed Products,
Inc.’s maximum liability here under is limited to the original purchase price
of the Product. No action arising out of any claimed breach of this warranty
by LH Licensed Products, Inc. may be brought by the original residential
purchaser more than one (1) year after the cause of action has arisen.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. It is best to write down your Administrator Code prior to step 2. Code cannot
be less than 6 digits:Before Use, Remove the Plastic
Protective Film from the Touchscreen
NOTE: Steps 2, and 3 MUST be Completed BEFORE Setting up a Fingerprint.

To Add or Remove User Passcodes
- Input Administrator code
- press “ ” to confirm

Manage User Passcodes
Add User Passcodes
- Input the user ID # (a two digit number from 01 to 50)
- press “ ” to confirm
- Input the desired user passcode (4-6 digits)
- Press “ ” to confirm
- Repeat the user passcode
- Press “ ” to confirm
When programming you will be prompted to add another passcode or press the “ ” to return to the previous menu when finished.
Delete User Passcodes
- Input the user ID # that you want to delete
- Press “ ” to confirm
Delete all User Passcodes
- Voice prompt notification that this will delete all existing user passcodes
- Press “ ” to confirm
Set Up or Add a User Fingerprint
To wake-up lock for Programming:

Remove Fingerprint Programming
NOTE: When unlocking, if your fingerprint fails 3 times, you will be prompted to enter the two illuminated Security Numbers, then your User Passcode, then the Check Mark

Operating the Lock
NOTE: If your programmed fingerprint consistently fails to unlock the deadbolt, delete and re-add it per the instructions in Step 5.
- Wake up lock
- Locking: The deadbolt can be locked at any time
- Turn the thumb knob to lock the deadbolt.
Unlocking:
Fingerprints or User Passcodes can unlock the deadbolt

- Place fingerprint on reader until you hear a doorbell
- Turn the thumb knob to open the deadbolt

Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
Keypad will not function. | • Check that all batteries are fresh high quality |
Alkaline Batteries
• Check for proper polarity (+ -) of all batteries
• Check that the Control Wire is attached to the Interior Assembly
The Latch is sticking.| Installation screws of the lock may be too tight and
have to be loosened
• Remove Interior Assembly
• Slightly loosen the Mounting Plate screws
• Lock and unlock using the Key
• Reattach Control Wire and Interior Assembly
Voice says “Ready to unlock” but thumb knob will not turn.| Lock not installed
correctly
• Ensure latch is kept horizontal when installing lock
• Install lock with bolt extended
No space to store more users.| • Delete old user codes or fingerprints
Fingerprint is invalid.
| • Make sure your fingers and the fingerprint reader are both clean
• Keep your finger on the reader until you hear the doorbell
• Try using another recorded fingerprint
• For consistent failures, delete and reprogram the fingerprint
Latch is not locking in inclement weather.| • Push or pull door to direct
latch
• Re-adjust latch for smoother operations
Admin Code Does not work.| • Press numbers slowly and carefully
