Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- This appliance is intended for cutting body hair in the nose and ears as well as sideburns and the neckline. Please use this appliance for its intended use only.
- It is intended for home use and not suitable for commercial purposes (in barbers etc.).
- Do not use the trimmer on children. Keep the unit out of children’s reach.
- Keep packing material away from children.
- Batteries can be highly threatening if swallowed. Therefore, keep the battery and trimmer out of children’s reach. If a battery has been swallowed seek medical advice immediately.
- Do not insert the trimmer more than 0.5 cm into your ear or nostril as you could injure your eardrum or the mucous membrane in your nose.
- Before using the trimmer, make sure the cutting head or detail attachment is securely fitted.
- The battery supplied with the trimmer must not be recharged or reactivated by other means, taken apart, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
- When cleaning the unit, make sure the battery cover is firmly closed.
- Switch the unit off after use, return the cutting head to the trimmer (if removed), and fit the protective cap.
- Remove a spent battery from the unit straight away as it could leak and cause damage.
- Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged in any manner. Call an authorized Fakir Service for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.

USAGE
Inserting The Battery
Your clipper requires 1 “AA” alkaline battery.
- To open the battery compartment, turn the base of the unit approximately 1cm counter–clockwise (to the left ) and pull it off.
- Insert 1 “AA” battery into the unit, positive end first.
- Replace the base and turn it 1cm clockwise (to the right) to lock it into place.
Battery cautions
- The use of non-alkaline batteries will impair the unit’s operating performance.
- Remove batteries if the unit is not in use for long periods.
- To prevent battery corrosion, the unit should be stored in a dry environment.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries with this appliance. The lower voltage in rechargeable batteries impairs the performance of the cutting unit.
Before using your groomer
- Beard, mustache or sideburn hairs should be dry. Avoid using lotions before using your groomer.
- Be certain that the hair length attachment is at the desired setting. When first using, you may want to begin on the highest setting (longest hair) to prevent trimming off too much hair initially.
- Comb hairs outward so they are at their maximum height and facing in the same direction.
Switching the trimmer on and off
- Slide the on/off switch forwards or backward to switch the unit on or off.
- Clean the trimmer after each use as described in the chapter “cleaning”.
Using Ear &Nose Trimmer Attachment
- Place the ear&nose trimmer attachment top of the body by turning right side.
Trimming ear hair
- Switch the trimmer on and carefully insert it into the outer parts of your ear.
- Carefully move the trimmer along hairy parts of your ear.
- The unwanted hair will be cut instantly.
Trimming nasal hair
- Switch the trimmer on and carefully insert it into the front of the nostril.
- Remove nasal hear by carefully moving the trimmer in a circular motion.
- The unwanted hair will be cut instantly.
Using Neckline & Sideburn Trimmer Attachment
- Switch the trimmer off.
- Turn the cutting head left side and take it off.
- Place the neckline and sideburn attachment on the unit and turn it tight to the right side.
- Move the detail attachment at a shallow angle across the skin from top to bottom without applying pressure. Do not move the unit from bottom to top and do not guide it sideways. You could cut yourself.
Using Eyebrow Trimmer Attachment
- Switch the trimmer off.
- Turn the neckline and sideburn head left side and take off.
- Place the eyebrow trimmer on the unit and turn it tight to the right side.
- For trimming, attach one of the attachment combs to the vertical linear trimmer.
- Gently guide the cutting unit to stray, unwanted hairs along the eyebrow line or protruding from the eyebrow itself.
Cleaning
- Please switch the appliance off.
- Wipe the outer of your unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- If the unit is not to be used for over 3 weeks, take the battery off from the appliance.
- All attachments are washable.
- Remove any hairs left in the cutting head using the cleaning brush supplied after that, clean the cutting head under the running water. The blades are stainless steel. Always keep the blades dry completely, before putting them on your appliance again. Never wash the cutting head under the water when it is fitted to your nose trimmer.
DISPOSAL
Waste Disposal
If the service life of the device has ended, in particular, if functional disturbances occur, make the worn-out device unusable by cutting through the power cable. Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.
Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center. The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them. For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer.
