GET STARTED

First time charging of the solar powerbank
Before using the solar powerbank, ensure that it is fully charged. This can be done by connecting the powerbank to a USB port using the provided USB cable. The maximum input via USB-C is 5V/2A. Charging from 0% to 100% takes approximately 5 hours.

Charging via solar energy
Charging the powerbank using solar energy can take some time and is dependent on the amount of sunlight available. It can take up to 25-30 hours to fully charge the powerbank using solar energy. To get the most out of sunlight, place the powerbank in a sunny location where it is directly exposed to the sun. A good location may be outside on a windowsill or on a table in the garden. The powerbank has a solar panel on the top that captures sunlight and converts it into electricity. The solar panel has a capacity of 1 watt, which means it can produce about 200 mA of power under ideal conditions. This is enough to slowly charge the powerbank’s battery, but it may take some time to fully charge the powerbank. To check if the powerbank is being charged using solar energy, it is best to check the battery level by pressing the power button. If the powerbank is being charged using solar energy, the bottom LED indicator will light up green to indicate that charging is in progress.

Note: charging the powerbank using solar energy is dependent on weather conditions. If it is cloudy, it may take longer to charge the powerbank or it may not be possible to charge the powerbank at all. If it is raining, do not expose the powerbank to moisture as this may damage it.

If you want to regularly charge the powerbank using solar energy, it is important to regularly expose the powerbank to direct sunlight. This will keep the powerbank charged and ready for use when you need it.

Connecting devices to the solar powerbank
To connect the powerbank to a device that needs to be charged, plug the device into the powerbank’s USB port using the provided USB cable or the built-in cables. The powerbank will automatically start charging the device. The built- in cables support connections for micro USB, USB-C, and lightning (Apple).

Checking the battery status
The solar powerbank comes with an LED indicator that shows how much power is left. This is indicated by the blue lights on the front of the powerbank. Press the power button to check the battery level. Each blue light represents 25% remaining charge capacity. The powerbank is fully depleted when no blue light remains on.

Activating the flashight function
The powerbank also comes with a convenient flashlight function. This can be activated by quickly pressing the power button twice. The flashlight has three different modes:

  • Continuous mode: The first mode is the standard mode and is activated by pressing the power button twice. This keeps the flashlight on continuously until you turn it off.
  • SOS mode: The second mode is the SOS mode. This is ac-tivated by pressing the power button again. In this mode, the flashlight flashes in the internationally recognized SOS Morse code. This can be used in emergencies to attract attention.
  • Strobe mode: The third mode is the strobe mode. This is activated by pressing the power button a third time. In this mode, the flashlight blinks rapidly and regularly.

Turning the powerbank on and off
The powerbank can be turned on by pressing the power button once. The blue lights on the front of the powerbank will light up. The powerbank does not need to be turned off manually as it will automatically turn off when no devices are connected, or when the devices are fully charged.

Draadloos laden
The powerbank comes with a convenient wireless charging panel that allows you to charge your wirelessly chargeable devices without using cables. To wirelessly charge your device, simply place it on the wireless charging panel of the powerbank and wait for it to charge. The wireless charging panel has a maximum power output of 5V/1A, which means it is suitable for charging most wirelessly chargeable devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, and earbuds. Please note that not all devices can be wirelessly charged and that some devices may not be compatible with the powerbank’s wireless charging panel. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your device, please consult your device’s manual or contact the manufacturer for more information. Finally, while your device is being wirelessly charged, please be aware that the powerbank’s wireless charging panel may become warm. This is normal and not a cause for concern. However, please make sure not to cover the device or the powerbank while they are being charged as this may cause overheating and damage to the device or the powerbank.
