The possibilities are limitless!
Powering Up
To power the EXMIC Deluxe, you will need a 9vdc, negative tip, Boss-style power supply. It is important not to exceed 200ma of current to prevent any noise issues, as the actual draw is less than 10ma.
Input/Output
The input is on the left and the output is on the right to match the orientation of the phone.
Controls
- GAIN: Controls the drive.
- TONE: Adjusts the treble roll-off.
- OUTPUT: Controls the volume level.
- POWER: On-off switch.
FAQ: Which end do you sing into?
Due to the size of the microphone element, it is not housed on the same end as the jack. To prevent obstructing your face with the handset and cord, hold the phone in the intended direction, like a traditional microphone. This small detail was carefully considered to create a high-quality, functional device.

FAQ
Which end do you sing into?
Due to the size of the microphone element, we cannothouse it on the same end as the jack. We’ve noticed thatpeople like to get up close to the mic end, especiallywhen performing live. Holding the phone in the intendeddirection, like a traditional microphone, preventsobstructing your face with the handset and cord. Thismight seem like a small detail, but we thought it throughquite a bit to to create a high-quality, functional device.
