Product Information

The product is a Universal Lavalier Microphone designed for recording audio on smartphones, PCs, and cameras. It comes with a  Lavalier microphone and an extension 4 to 3 PIN adapter cord. The microphone is compatible with most smartphones, including iPhone series 13/12/11/X/8/7 and Android devices. It can also be used with PCs and cameras that have a 3.5mm audio input jack.

Product Usage Instructions

For Smartphone Users

1. Fully plug the microphone connector into the headphone jack of your phone or any other compatible device.
2. Press the Record button on your voice or video recording app, then speak or sing.
3. To listen to your recording, unplug the microphone from your phone and press play.

For iPhone Users
Note: You’ll need the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter when using the mic with iPhone series 13/12/11/X/8/7. Check the iPhone box first to see whether you already have one.

1. Download an available app from the Apple Store, such as Voice Memo.
2. Connect the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter to your iPhone.
3. Connect the microphone to the adapter.
4. Open the app and start recording.

Note: The Lightning to 3.5mm adapter is not included in the box.
The microphone cannot be used for video calls.

For Android Users
Note: In most cases, the microphone works perfectly with Android devices. However, there were cases when the smartphone’s built-in video editor did not recognize an external microphone and only saw its built-in one. If the default video recorder app does not detect the microphone, follow these steps:

1. Go to Google Play and search for a compatible app.
2. Install the app.
3. Start the application and switch modes from the default microphone to the external microphone.
4. Press record to start recording.

For PC Users
With PC: If your PC has one 3.5mm jack for both the headphone/mic combo, you can plug the lapel/headset mic into the jack directly.

1. Plug in the microphone jack into the PC’s 3.5mm combo jack.
2. The mic will still be listed as the Default Device or whatever the name of the built-in microphone of the computer.

For Camera Users
With Camera: You need to connect the lapel/headset mic to your camera (that has a 3.5mm audio input jack) using the 4 to 3 PIN adapter.

1. Plug in the microphone jack into your camera’s 3.5mm audio input jack using the 4 to 3 PIN adapter.

Extension Cord
The product includes an extension cord with lengths of 1.5m and 2m. Use the extension cord to extend the reach of the microphone if needed.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Step 1.
FULLY plug the microphone connector into the headphone jack of your phone or any other compatible device.

Step 2.
Press the “Record” button on your voice or video recording app, then speak or sing.

Step 3.
To listen to your recording, UNPLUG the microphone from your phone and press “play”.

NOTICE
Please be sure that you plugged TIGHTLY the connection. This solves 80% of “not working” issues.

FOR ANDROID USERS

Moreover, in most cases it works perfectly with Android devices. However, there were cases when smartphone’s built-in video editor did not recognize an external microphone and only saw its built-in one. Please try plugging in the mic into your device and in a situation where default video recorder app DOES NOT DETECT IT, PLEASE FOLLOW THE EASY STEPS below, starting on Google Play (or Play store).
