Save These Instructions
Bathtubs are assembled complete and ready for installation. Immediately
upon receiving the bath and removal of packing, INSPECT the unit for freight
damage. Any claims for damage, whether apparent or hidden, must be made to
freight carrier immediately, in order for them to assume all associated costs.

from the warranty. The warranty DOES NOT cover labor or materials to remove or
re-install the bath.
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
Check to ensure that:
- The installation will conform with all applicable Federal, State and Local Building Codes & Regulations;
- The unit is the correct model and color;
- There has been no shipping damage;
- The “notice” or “warning” tags on the bathtub have been read and thoroughly understood;
- The interior of the tub will be protected during installation;
- Make sure sub floor is level.
DURING INSTALLATION
Check to ensure that:
- Bathtub is not hanging from the rim. Bath must be supported from the floor (See Figure 1, Page 5).
- An access panel with minimum dimensions of 16” height by 20” width is required at the pump end of the bathtub to allow for pump accessibility in the event that maintenance or servicing is necessary. The area surrounding the pump must have sufficient air movement.
- All Bathtubs with seats must have additional support for each seat.
- All building materials and wiring should be routed away from the pump body or other heat producing components of the unit.
- Bathtubs with Combination Whirlpool and Air System may require 2 access panels with minimum dimensions of 16” height by 20” width.

- Grounding is required. The unit should be installed by a qualified service representative and grounded.
- (For built-in and custom units) install to permit access for servicing.
- Supply 110 Volt electrical outlet. This circuit must be protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
- Plug supply cord(s) into electrical outlet.
- To test the GFCI, do the following:
a. Push the test button;
b. Check to see that power has been interrupted;
c. Push the reset button;

Bathtub Installation
Keep the bathtub protected during installation. Choose the installation that
applies to your bathtub:
Installation with support feet for both adjustable and non-adjustable:
A. Some shimming of the bathtub will be needed if the sub floor is not level.
B. To level the tub with the adjustable feet simply turn the nut of foot.
C. To any type of foot, apply a generous amount of construction adhesive to
the bottom of the foot.
D. Set the bathtub into its location.
E. Verify that the bathtub is level (See Figure1)
Installation without support feet:
A. Using light weight cement, gypsum, or fix-all-bed, prepare a tub mortar bed
approximately 1”or 2″ thick (See Figure2).
B. Using the floor of the tub as the support to move the tub (not the deck or
rim), place the bathtub into the proper position and set it in the bedding
compound (See Figure3).
Final Installation:
A. Using a 4 foot level, verify that the top of the bathtub is level in both
directions.
B. Finish the tile or surface to the tub deck.
C. Seal the edges (See Figures 4, 5, or 6)

acrylic and metallic surfaces. Use warm water and a non-abrasive liquid
detergent. Turpentine or paint thinner can be used to remove stubborn stains,
paint, or tar. Remove cleaners containing petroleum distillates quickly. Do
not use wire brushes or other metal tools such as metal scrappers. Plaster can
be removed by carefully scraping with a wood edge. A powder-type detergents
may be used on a damp cloth if mild abrasive action is necessary to remove
residual plaster.
