Product Usage Instructions
- Disconnect the main power supply at the breaker box.
- CAUTION: Failure to disconnect the main electrical power may result in serious injury.
- Using (2) stainless steel junction box screws, attach the Oceanside patented mounting crossbar to the electrical box. Screw 2 threaded rods into the center hole of the crossbar. The proper depth will be adjusted later.
- Using wire connectors, splice the wires from the box to the fixture wires. Make sure to attach black to black, white to white, and ground to ground.
- Place the fixture on the wall with 2 threaded rods protruding through the center hole on the backplate of the fixture. Adjust the depth of the threaded rods so that approximately 1 inch of rod is left showing.
- Secure the fixture to the wall by attaching a nylon mounting nut to the 2 threaded rods. Tighten for a secure fit, but do not overtighten to avoid stripping the threads. Cover the mounting nut with a weatherproof vinyl cap.
- If applicable, install the photo control circuit by following the pre-wired instructions. Be sure not to exceed the maximum wattage of 32 watts.
- Place the lamp in the socket by grasping the plastic base, inserting the pins into the socket, and rotating clockwise until secure. Use an integrated lamp/ballast (SBCFL) that is marked with the UL and C, US Logo. Do not use the lamp in direct exposure to water or in a totally enclosed luminaire.
- Attach the cage to the fixture using (2) 8/32 x 3/8 matching knurled thumbscrews.
- Apply silicone caulk completely around the fixture backplate for a watertight seal.
- Turn on the main power.

- Disconnect main power supply at the breaker box. DO NOT turn power off at the wall switch only. CAUTION: FAILURE TO DISCONNECT MAIN ELECTRICAL POWER MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
- Using (2) stainless steel junction box screws, attach OCEANSIDE PATENTED MOUNTING CROSSBAR to the electrical box. Once secured, screw 2” threaded rod into center hole of crossbar. Proper depth will be adjusted later.
- Using wire connectors, splice wires from box to fixture wires. Be sure to attach black to black, white to white, and ground to ground.
- Place fixture on wall with 2” threaded rod protruding through center hole on backplate of fixture. Adjust depth of threaded rod by screwing it in so the approximately 1” of rod is left showing.
- Secure fixture to wall by attaching nylon mounting nut to 2” threaded rod. Tighten for secure fit, but do not tighten so much that the threads strip. Cover mounting nut with weatherproof vinyl cap.

This fixture may have an integral photo sensor that turns the fixture off during the day and on at night. The photo sensor is not adjustable. The fixture could possibly cycle on and off due to light reflected from nearby surfaces into the photo sensor. If cycling occurs, remove the photo sensor nut and install the swivel hood and base. The hood and base are adjustable. The hood can be rotated and the base can be cut along the dotted line to reduce overall length. Check operation before cutting the base.
BALLAST AND LAMP REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The product contains an integrated Lamp/Ballast combination. To remove, grasp
the plastic area on each side of the bulb area and rotate counterclockwise.
Replace with MAX 27W SBCFL(GU-24) that is marked with the UL and C, US Logo.
Use SBCFL marked – Not for use where directly exposed to water. Do not use
SBCFL marked – Not for use in totally enclosed luminaire. Mark means lamp
contains Mercury. Follow disposal laws. See
