BUTTON AND INTERFACE INSTRUCTION

POWER ON AND OFF

Rotating the head left or right will turn on the speaker. Rotate the head back to the initial position and the speaker will power off in 5 secs.

CONNECT

1. Entering pairing mode:

Long press the muti-function button on the tail after turn on the speaker to enter pairing mode. To signal pairing mode, the light at the bottom of the speaker will blink blue continuously

2. Select your device

Select Libratone BIRD from the Bluetooth device list on your phone and connect

3. Connected

The light at the bottom of speaker blinks twice and then light white to indicate the bluetooth connection is completed.The speaker is ready to play!

VOICE ASSISTANT

After connection is complete, you can tap the area above the beak on the head of the speaker to wake up the voice assistant and control music, access information and more, just with your voice!

BASIC OPERATION

Volume Control

Press the “+” or “-” on the tail of the speaker to turn the volume up or down

Muti-Function Button

During music playback, press the multi-function button to pause/resume playback, double press for next track, triple press for previous track

For phone calls, press the multi-function button to answer a call, double press to reject an incoming call

STATUS INDICATION

Bottom Light

The light at the bottom will be lit during playback; the light will blink in a white color when there is no connection

When the voice assistant is woken up, the bottom light will blink twice and then stay lit

The bottom light flashes three times in red when trying to power on, this indicates that the speaker needs to be charged.

Charging Indicator

The charging indicator light will turn red when the power is low

The white light will blink when charging (The light is red when battery is low)

The light will stay on when fully charged

PLUS 1

Plus 1 Setup

Enter the speaker page in App, click ‘PLUS 1’ icon at the bottom

Follow the instruction to complete the connection

Exit Plus 1

Enter the Plus 1 setup page in App, select Exit Plus 1

MAGNETIC DESIGN

Magnetic base

Magnetic product base which easily fixes to multiple places for even more fun.

Magnet-glue Accessory

With the base, the speaker can be fixed in more positions

• When using the base, make sure that the fixed surface is flat, dry and free of dirt. When using with the speaker, it is not recommended to fix the base on a large inclined angle or vertical surface.

*The glue is strong and can’t be moved easily once you fix it, please select location carefully

FAQ

How to connect Xiaodu or TmallGenie?

Connect to Xiaodu: download 小度APP from app store, open and login 小度APP, select “添加设备”, and then select “Libratone BIRD” or “更多蓝牙设备” from the device list and connect.

Connect to TmallGenie：download 天猫精灵 APP from app store, open and login 天猫精灵APP, select “我家”-“添加设备”-“娱乐影音”-“智能音箱”, select Libratone BIRD and connect.

Bottom light

The brightness of the bottom light is adjustable in the Libratone APP, a lower brightness will give you a longer battery life.

Playback is interrupted or has noise?

Normally, the working distance is 10m at a non-sheltered area. If the distance to the playing device is more than 7m the music playback will be interrupted

The speaker cannot connect to an already paired device

If you can’t connect, please delete the speaker from the Bluetooth device list in the phone, press the multi-function button on the tail to enter Bluetooth pairing mode and then pair with the phone again

Why does the speaker automatically turn off if there are no playback detected?

Without power supply, the speaker will automatically power off if no operation/playback is detected within 12 minutes to save power

• Phone, tablet computer or any other device with Bluetooth are all applicable. This User Manual uses phone as an example for operation instruction.
