ALLEN HEATH DX88-P 96kHz Digital Mixing Systems
Product Information
The DX88-P is a fixed installation I/O Expander designed for Allen & Heath 96kHz digital mixing systems. It features 8 remote controlled mic/line preamps and 8 line outputs. The unit connects to the mixer using a single Cat5 cable. Additional expanders such as DX88-P, DX164-W, DX012, or DX168 can be connected via the DX B connection. The DX88-P can be used freestanding or rack mounted with the optional DX88-P-RK19/X kit. It is important to update the firmware of the mixing system before connecting the DX Expander to ensure proper operation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the mixing system is updated to the latest available version of firmware.
- Connect the DX88-P to the mixing system using a Cat5 cable. Use the DX A port for the initial connection.
- If connecting a second unit, use the DX B port for daisy chaining.
- Make sure there is proper ventilation at the sides and back of the unit. Avoid obstructing the vents during operation and prevent dirt or liquid ingress.
- Use only the provided power supply (Adapter Tech EDA4012-C14, A&H part code AM13303) to avoid electrical or fire hazards.
- For indoor use only.
- Use Cat5e or higher STP cable for connections with a maximum cable length of 100m per connection.
