Clear Touch CM100 Microphone Kit

Product Information:

The CM100 Microphone Kit is a wireless microphone system that includes a Collar Microphone and a Receiver. It is designed for clear and convenient sound amplification in various scenarios.

The Collar Microphone features a compact and lightweight design, making it comfortable to wear. It has a power button, microphone indicator light, volume control buttons, and a back clip for easy attachment. The microphone head should be facing the direction of
sound pickup for optimal performance.

The Receiver is equipped with an infrared receiver for pairing with the Collar Microphone. It has indicator lights to show the pairing status and audio output connections.

The kit also includes a necklace component and a handle component for charging and connecting the microphone.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Power On/Off: Slide the power button upwards to turn on the microphone (automatically enters pairing mode) and downwards to turn it off. The red light indicates power off, blue light flashing indicates pairing mode, blue light on indicates paired and proper
   pickup status, and red light on indicates paired and muted status.

2. Microphone Indicator: The indicator light shows different statuses. Red light breathing effect indicates low battery status, green light breathing effect indicates charging status, and green light on indicates full charge status.

3. Pairing: When pairing, ensure that the infrared receiver of the microphone faces the Receiver and the distance does not exceed 5 meters.

4. Microphone Head Orientation: For the best sound amplification effect, make sure the microphone head is facing the direction of sound pickup.

5. Microphone Function: When the device is in working status, short press the microphone button to turn on/off the microphone function.

6. Volume Control: Use the volume + and volume – buttons to adjust the volume level (out of 5 levels). If the microphone is in mute mode, pressing either button will directly cancel the mute mode.

7. Back Clip: Attach the microphone securely using the back clip for convenience in various scenarios.

8. Charging: Connect the USB-C charging port to the necklace component or handle component for charging.

9. Audio Output: The Receiver has an AUDIO OUT port for connecting to a tablet device for audio output.

10. Packing List: Check the product package box to ensure that it includes the necessary components.

11. Connection and Pairing: Connect the wireless microphone receiver to the Clear Touch Interactive Smart Board EK series using an audio cable and USB-A connection. Pairing of two Collar Microphones with one receiver is supported by turning on the microphones one by one for automatic pairing.

Connection and Pairing

1. Prerequisites: This product needs to be used with a wireless microphone receiver, and the wireless microphone receiver is connected to the Clear Touch Interactive Smart Board EK series.
   Please refer to the following figure.

2. It supports pairing of two Collar Microphone with one receiver. Simply turn on two Collar Microphone one by one for automatic pairing.

3. When using, simply turn on the microphone to enter the pairing mode. At this time, the frequency indication light flashes blue. Place the infrared pairing window of the microphone towards the sound amplification device of the interactive smart board and keep the distance within 5 meters. The microphone can automatically complete the pairing and connection. When the pairing indication light is steady blue and the sound amplification device issues a “beep” prompt, it indicates that the connection and pairing have been successful and can be used normally.

4. This machine has wireless pairing function. When using it with the interactive smart board sound amplification device, simply turn on the microphone and keep it <2 meters away from the sound amplification device. After a short wait, it can automatically complete pairing (when the pairing indication light is steady blue and the sound amplification device issues a “beep” prompt, it indicates that the connection and pairing have been successful and can be used normally).
   It is recommended to keep a distance of at least 1 meter between the microphone and the speaker during use.

5. The sound amplification of this machine is realized by using the microphone’s built-in pickups. The Collar Microphone receiver is connected to the Clear Touch Interactive Smart Board EK series, and the 3.5mm audio cable is used to connect the Collar Microphone receiver and the Audio in port on the side of the interactive smart board for local sound amplification.

◆ Wearing Method

Safety Precautions

Before using and operating this device, please read and comply with the following precautions to avoid danger or illegal operation.

1. Usage Environment

   • Do not use the device in dusty or damp places to avoid internal circuit failure of the device.
   • Do not place the device near a heated object such as an electric heater.
   • Normal working temperature of the device is 0~40℃, normal working humidity is 10%~90% RH.

2. Children’s Health
   This device and its accessories may contain some small parts. Please do not place them in places where children can reach to avoid danger.

3. Power Supply

   • Please use the standard cable of this product.
   • When no one is indoors or the device is not in use for a long time, please disconnect the power connection.

4. Waterproof

   • This device is not waterproof. Please keep the device dry.
   • If the device gets wet, do not charge or turn it on/off.

5. Maintenance

   • Please seek qualified service personnel for all repair services.
   • When the device is damaged, do not disassemble it for inspection privately. Please call the customer service hotline for repair.
   • Do not insert any sharp objects into the device.
   • Do not drop or collide the device to avoid damage to the device.

Precautions

1. Avoid the charging cable from adhering to metal devices, which may cause short circuit damage.
2. If the product cannot be charged or the charging effect is not good, it is recommended to clean the charging interface of the product and then try to charge it.

Simple Troubleshooting

If the microphone cannot work properly after it is turned on, please troubleshoot according to the following steps:

1. Check whether the mute mode is turned on. The mute indication light will be red if it is in mute mode.
2. Try to increase the volume of the microphone.
3. Check whether the receiver is powered normally.
4. Check whether it is connected to incorrect devices.

Operations in the 5.15-5.25GHz band are restricted to indoor usage only.
Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
The SAR limit adopted by USA and Canada is 1.6 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over one gram of tissue. The highest SAR value reported to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) the Industry Canada (IC) for this device type when it is tested for the properly worn on the body is under 1g 1.6W/Kg.
The device complies with the RF specifications when the device is used near your at a distance of 0 mm from your body. Ensure that the device accessories such as a device case and a device holster are not composed of metal components. Keep your device 0 mm away from your body to meet the requirement earlier mentioned.
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0 mm must be maintained between the user’s body and the product, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components.
