The Stainless Steel Apple Crusher is a manual device used for crushing apples to extract juice. It is designed for use with a wine press and is made from durable stainless steel.

Product Usage Instructions

Assembly:

• Step 1: Insert the Curved Rear Wall (8) and Front Wall (7) through the Left Side Wall (1) holes as shown in the diagram.
• Step 2: Secure the Curved Rear Wall (8) and Front Wall (7) with four Acorn Nuts Washers (3) and four Acorn Nuts (2) as shown in the diagram.
• Step 3: Secure the Pusher Handle (12) to the Pusher (11) with two Screws (13).
• Step 4: Insert the Pusher Assembly tab (11, 12, 13), Apple Guide tab (14), Bushing (16), and Cylinder Assembly (15) through the designated holes shown in the diagram.
• Step 5: Insert the Bushing (16) on the Cylinder shaft and fit the Right Side Wall (1) on four screws and the Curved Wall tab indicated by red arrows in the diagram.
• Step 6: Secure the Right Side Wall (1) with four Wing Nuts Washers (6) and four Wing Nuts (5).
• Step 7: Slide the Cranking Handle (19) on the Cylinder shaft and secure it tightly with the Washer (20) and the Cranking Handle Locking Nut (21).
• Step 8: Position the Crushed Apples Chute (9) between two Apple Crusher walls with two cutouts and secure it with two Cross Knobs (10) to the welded screws on the chute.
• Step 9: If using the Sausage Maker Wine Press Mounting Bracket (optional), align the Wine Press Mounting Bracket (17) holes with the threaded rivets on the Apple Crusher walls and secure it with two Rounded Knobs (18) to the back of the Apple Crusher. Turn the Cross Knobs (10) clockwise to secure the Apple Crusher to the Wine Press frame.

Mounting Options:

• Option 1: Align the Apple Crusher side tabs with the edge of the bench. This allows the Crushed Apple Chute (9) to be positioned at a steeper angle, causing crushed apples to fall into the bucket more easily. Make sure the Cranking Handle (19) clears the table before mounting the Apple Crusher with screws. Four mounting holes are 1/4″ in diameter. Use proper wooden screws to attach.
• Option 2: Align the Apple Crusher tab with the edge of the table. Secure the Apple Crusher to the bench or table using C-Clamps.
• Option 3: The Apple Crusher also has four keyhole slots on the back for wall mounting. The Cranking Handle range during operation extends beyond the back of the Apple Crusher, so mounting must be done on the outside corner of the wall to operate the Apple Crusher.

ASSEMBLY

Step 1
Insert Curved Rear Wall (8) and Front Wall (7) through Left Side Wall (1) holes like shown on the right.

Step 2
Secure Curved Rear Wall (8) and Front Wall (7) with four Acorn Nuts Washers (3) and four Acorn Nuts (2) like shown on the left.

Step 3

Pusher Assembly
Secure Pusher Handle (12) to Pusher (11) with two Screws (13).

Step 4
Insert Pusher Assembly tab (11,12,13), Apple Guide tab (14), Bushing (16), and Cylinder Assembly (15) through the holes shown on the diagram.

Step 5
Insert Bushing (16) on Cyl- inder shaft and fit Right Side Wall (1) on four screws and the Curved Wall tab indicated by red arrows in the diagram on the right.

Step 6
Secure tightly Right Side Wall (1) with four Wing Nuts Washers (6) and four Wing Nuts (5)

Step 7
Slide Cranking Handle (19) on the cylinder shaft and se- cure tightly with Washer (20) and Cranking Handle Lock- ing Nut (21).

Step 8
Position Crushed Apples Chute (9) between two apple crusher walls with two cutouts and secure with two Cross Knobs (10) to the welded screws on the chute.

Step 9

Sausage Maker Wine Press Mounting Bracket (Optional)
Align Wine Press Mounting Bracket (17) with two holes with two threaded rivets on Apple Crusher walls and secure with two Rounded Knobs (18) to the back of the Apple Crusher.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

Option 1
Align Apple Crusher side tabs with the edge of the bench (red arrow), this allows Crushed Ap- ple Chute (9) to be positioned at a steeper angle causing crushed apples to fall into the bucket more easily. Make sure Cranking Handle (19) clears the table before mounting apple crusher with screws. Four mounting holes are 1/4” diameter. Use proper wooden screws to attach.

Option 2
Align the Apple Crusher tab with the edge of the table (red arrow) Secure the Apple Crusher to the bench or table using C-Clamps.

Option 3
Apple Crusher also has four keyhole slots on the back to be able to mount it on the wall. The cranking Handle range during operation extends beyond the back of the Apple Crusher so the mounting has to be done on the outside corner of the wall to be able to operate the Apple Crusher.

Option 4
Another option to mount Apple Crusher is to build a simple rig from 2 x 4 lumber and put it in the ground of your backyard or garden or mount it on the wall.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Apple Crusher can be operated right-handed or left-handed, just disassemble and reverse the Crushing Cylinder Assembly to the other side.

To operate an Apple Crusher first, secure it with one of the mounting methods mentioned on previous pages. Open the Apple Pusher using a green handle and load two or three apples into the crushing chamber. Hold the Pusher handle with one hand and start turning the Cranking Handle. Apply gradual force on the Pusher while turning the Cranking Handle. If the apples get stuck just reverse the turning motion backwards for a second and return to forward motion.
