Full Length Hospital Bed Rails

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure Cross Braces are attached to head and foot of bed frame at least 55 inches apart to prevent damage when raising head and foot of bed together.
Installing Cross Braces
- Lower bed to flat position and remove mattress.
- At head of bed, compress Cross Brace in order to slide Locking Collars at each end into notches on each side of bed frame.
- Hold Barrel parallel to bed frame while installing Cross Brace and then rotate long end of Barrel toward floor.
- Tab should be at outside of bed frame and Spring Loaded Knob pointing toward center of bed.
- Repeat steps 1 through 3 with second Cross Brace at foot of bed.
Make sure the larger diameter Outer Telescoping Rail is positioned at head of bed to prevent a pinch point when raising and lowering bed.
Installing Bed Rails
- Standing at side of bed, extend one Bed Rail to reach Cross Braces at each end of bed.
- At head of bed, insert Outer Telescoping Rail into Barrel of Cross Brace.
- Pull Spring Loaded Knob and slide Bed Rail down until it clicks into lowest adjustment hole and then insert Inner Telescoping Rail into Barrel of Cross Brace at foot end of bed.
- Pull Spring Loaded Knob and adjust Inner Telescoping Rail to same height.
- Repeat Steps 1 through 4 to install second Bed Rail on opposite side of bed.

Raising/Lowering Bed Rails
- To raise or lower Bed Rail, pull and hold Spring Loaded Knob while sliding Bed Rail until Spring Loaded Knob clicks securely into lower adjustment hole, upper adjustment hole or until Rail Stop rests against Barrel.
- Repeat for opposite end of Bed Rail and on opposite side of bed making sure head and foot ends of Bed Rails are set at same height.

Read entire manual prior to assembly and operation and save for future reference.
- DO NOT install or use this equipment without first reading and understanding these instructions. If you do not understand these instructions, contact your dealer or a health care professional before attempting to install and use this equipment – Improper installation and/or use of this product can result in entrapment, serious injury or death.
- Lifestyle Mobility Aids is not liable for personal injury or property damage due to failure to follow the instructions or recommendations in this manual or improper use of this product.
- The Bed Rails are not to be used as bedside assist handles when getting in or out of bed and can be damaged if excessive pressure is applied.
- The Bed Rails are to prevent the user from inadvertently rolling out of bed, NOT for restraint purposes. If restraint is needed, consult a physician or healthcare professional.
- DO NOT use the Bed Rails as push handles when moving the bed.

MAINTENANCE
- Clean weekly with soft cloth using mild soap or detergent and dry thoroughly.
- DO NOT use organic solvents, such as acetone, or abrasive cleansers.
- Inspect weekly for wear and to ensure all components are secure. If any component appears worn or is not working properly, contact your dealer for repair and/or appropriate replacement parts.
WARRANTY
Limited Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product failure due to misuse, negligence, improper storage or handling, improper operation or unauthorized modifications. It is recommended but not required that the product be returned to the Lifestyle Mobility Aids dealer through whom it was originally purchased. However, all Lifestyle Mobility Aids Dealers are qualified to assist you in obtaining warranty service. If the product Is to be returned to Lifestyle Mobility Aids. prior authorization will be required. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, Lifestyle Mobility Aids will determine if the product will be repaired or replaced. This Lifestyle Mobility Aids product is identified by a serial or lot number at the time of manufacture. Removing or defacing the serial or lot number label may void this warranty.
