Product Information: BKR60 Bath Fan Replacement Motor, Wheel
and Cover Kit
The BKR60 Bath Fan Replacement Motor, Wheel and Cover Kit is a replacement kit for bath fans. It includes a fan cover grille, motor and wheel assembly, motor plate, and scroll band (for select fan models). The kit is designed to replace the existing components of a bath fan to ensure proper functioning.

Product Usage Instructions
- Switch off the power at the service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent accidental power switching.
- Always wear safety gloves and glasses when working with the product.
- Remove the old fan cover by following the provided instructions.
- If applicable, bend the plastic scroll band into a crescent shape and place the ends of the scroll band behind the double tabs. Align the center slot of the scroll band on the single tab in the fan housing. Skip this step if your fan housing does not have double tabs.
- Snap the new motor and wheel assembly into the fan housing and plug in the motor. Insert the tabs on the motor plate into the slots on the fan housing. Pivot the assembly up and snap the third motor plate tab into the fan housing (motor plate A) or push up until touching the wiring box and secure with a screw (motor plate B).
- Ensure that the motor power cord is routed as shown to prevent electrical shock caused by wire damage. Attach the new cover by squeezing one spring and inserting it into the fan slot. Repeat with the other spring. Push the cover up against the ceiling or wall.
Note: The tools needed for installation, such as a screwdriver, are not included in the package.

Installation Instruction
Remove motor and wheel assembly from existing fan. Refer to installation video for ease of removing motor and wheel assembly.

Choose the motor plate according to housing dimensions. Compare to your existing motor plate to ensure the right fi t.

Attach the new motor plate to the new motor and wheel assembly. (Motor plate A shown, same procedure for motor plate B).
Place the new motor plate onto the motor, lining up the motor posts.
Securely fasten using the 2 nuts and wrench included.
WARNING
The motor power cord must be routed as shown to prevent electrical shock
caused by wire damage.
Skip this step if you have a 7 ½” x 7 ¼” fan housing -or- a 8” x 7 ¼” fan
housing with an existing metal scroll band.
This step is for select fan models only with a 8” x 7 ¼” fan housing that do
not have an existing metal scroll band.
Bend plastic scroll band (pictured in grey) into a crescent shape. Place ends
of scroll band behind the double tabs. Align the center slot of the scroll
band on the single tab in the fan housing. If your fan housing does not have
double tabs, skip this step.
Snap new motor and wheel assembly into the fan housing and plug in motor.
Insert 2 tabs on the motor plate into the 2 slots on the fan housing. Pivot
the assembly up and snap the third motor plate tab into the fan housing (motor
plate A) -or- push up until touching the wiring box, then secure with screw
(motor plate B).

Attach new cover by squeezing one spring and insert into fan slot. Repeat with the other spring. Push cover up against the ceiling or wall.
