Product Information

The N2 (15) Additional Tube Rail is an accessory for the greenhouse that allows for the installation of shade panels or blinds. It includes brackets, bolts, nuts, and a tube rail.

Components:

  • x1 Tube Rail
  • x2 Brackets
  • x2 Cropped Head Bolts
  • x2 Nuts
  • x4 Spacer Nuts
  • x12 Rail Bolts

Installation Instructions:

  1. Check all components to ensure nothing is missing or damaged.
  2. Determine the desired position of the rail bearing, considering any obstructions such as bracing or strengthening bars that may interfere with the blinds.
  3. Ideally, position the brackets as close to the eaves as possible.
  4. Depending on the bracket position, the slot on the bracket can face up or down.
  5. Use the brackets as templates and mark the greenhouse frame where the bracket holes will be.
  6. Insert the cropped head bolts into the glazing channel where marked and secure them using a nut. Tighten to lock them in position.
  7. Screw two additional nuts onto each bolt to act as spacers.
  8. Place a bracket onto the bolts and set it onto the spacer nuts. Secure it with two more nuts and tighten fully.
  9. Take a Tube Rail and place an insert square over the end of the tube. Tap it in fully using a metal hammer. This is best done on a solid floor.
  10. Screw a 30mm Rail Bolt loosely into each insert.
  11. Secure a Shade Panel towards the top and bottom of the greenhouse using the provided suckers. Make sure to leave some slack.
  12. Position the rail against the panel and insert it into the slotted brackets.
  13. Adjust the rail bolts so that they fit snugly into the slots in the top brackets.

If fitting blinds side by side along the wall or roof of the greenhouse, attach the bolts and nuts as described above. Then, secure two brackets onto the single set of bolts.
