09989 Essential Center Pull Towel Dispenser
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (FOR USE IN U.S. ONLY): Title III of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) governs, in detail, the placement and
operation of dispensers. You should ensure that your mounting and use of
dispensers complies with that law as well as the regulations issued under that
statute. The mounting suggestions in this document may or may not fulfillthe
obligations of the ADA with respect to your facility.

INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR OPENING PUSHBUTTON
- Open the dispenser cover using the key.
- Locate the small Phillips head screw on the spring latch mechanism. (Fig. 1)
- Remove the small screw from spring latch mechanism. (Fig. 2)
- With a flat blade screwdriver pry up the back of the spring latch till it clears the plastic button. (Fig. 3)
- Insert second flat blade screwdriver between the side wall and the spring unit. While lifting the back above the plastic button use the second screwdriver to pry the spring toward the back until the slots in the spring slide even with the plastic notches. At this point the spring can be removed. (Fig. 4)
- Place a screwdriver behind the button hole cover and push it out. (Fig. 5)
- Place new button on the spring just below the latch hook. (Fig. 6)
- Place the spring mechanism with the button back in the position to reinstall. (Fig. 7)
- Place the thumb of one hand on the center of the spring unit and push down hard. (Fig. 8)
- While holding the spring down with one thumb use your other hand to slide the spring mechanism toward the side of the dispenser till it locks back in place. (Both thumbs are not shown for clarity but must be done together.) (Fig. 9)
- Re-install the small Phillips head screw. (Fig. 10)
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Mount the dispenser with the bottom edge approximately 56″ (142cm) from the floor. See Fig 1. Allow at least 7 inches (18cm) on the left side of the dispenser for door clearance. See Fig 2.
- Ensure that the proper mounting hardware is used for appropriate wall composition as enclosed hardware may not be compatible with your wall surface.
OPTIONAL MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION
- Obtain Mounting Bracket SKU #45545 (sold in packs of 10) from your Kimberly-Clarkrepresentative.
- Secure the bracket to the wall with the bottom edge 62″ (152cm) from the floor. See Fig. 3. WARNING: DO NOT SECURE THE BRACKET USING DOUBLESIDED TAPE. ENSURE THAT THE PROPER MOUNTING HARDWARE IS USED FOR THE APPROPRIATE WALL COMPOSITION.
- Locate the back of the dispenser onto the bracket and push down firmly to secure. See Fig. 4.
DISPENSING DISK INSERTION/REMOVAL
To Insert a Dispensing Disk
- Open the cover.
- Position the disk with the indicator bar facing up and align the tabs on the disk with the slots on the dispenser. See Fig. 7.
- Rotate the disk clockwise until the indicator bar on the disk is aligned with the indicator bar on the dispenser. See Fig. 8.
To Remove a Dispensing Disk
- Open the cover.
- Rotate the dispensing disk counter-clockwise and lift it out of the dispenser.
LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
- Open the door to the dispenser.
- Remove the core from the product. Fig. 9.
- Place the product into the dispenser with a tail of paper hanging down. Fig. 10.
- Close the dispenser and begin dispensing. Fig. 11.
- A clear lens is provided along the bottom front edge of the dispenser so as to monitor the amount of product remaining prior to reloading.
