Charging the Battery

Turning the phone On
Press and hold power button until your screen lights up.
Turning the phone Off
Press power button and volume up button at the same time to access the phone options screen. Tap Power off.
Selecting the Language
You may select a language on your phone’s welcome screen or at later time in the device settings:
Settings > System > Language & input > Languages > Add a language.
Set up your Google Account
Having a Google (Gmail) account will give you access to several features on your phone including:

  • Google Drive cloud storage
  • Google Assistant
  • Google Play
  • and more

Create or Sign-In to your Google account during the setup process on your phone or skip and do so at a later time.
To sign into your Google Account:
Settings > Passwords & accounts > Add account > Google
To create a new Google Account:
Settings > Passwords & accounts > Add account > Google > Create account > Follow prompts on the screen.
Once a Google Account has been added, the device will automatically sync Google services unless disabled.
Security Settings
Establishing security settings is essential to keeping your device and personal information safe. During the setup process, you will be prompted to enter a security pin or choose a different Lock Screen Option.
You may skip this step and complete your security settings at a later time.
Settings > Security > Screen lock
Lock Screen Options
Swipe: Swipe to unlock the screen.
Pattern: Draw a pattern to unlock the screen.
PIN: Enter a numeric password to unlock the screen.
Password: Enter an alphanumeric password to unlock the screen.
How to Make and Receive Calls
Making a Call

  • Open the Dialer and click on

  • Enter a phone number and click on
    Or

  • From Contacts list click on the contact name then on

  • From the Recents list click on

Receiving a Call
To receive a call, simply swipe the call icon during an incoming call
Adding Contacts
Contacts >Add icon > Enter contact > Save
You can also create a new contact from the Contacts tab on the Dial Interface.
Importing Contacts
Contacts > Fix & manage > Select Import from SIM or Import from file
Contact Lookup
You may lookup contacts in several ways:

  • From the Contact app, click on the search bar and enter the contact name or letter.
  • From the Phone app, click on the Contacts tab.
    Once on the Contacts tab, enter the contact name on the search bar to complete the lookup.
    You may also scroll up and down to search for your contact.

Voicemail Preferences
Call button > More options (3 dots) > Settings > Voicemail
Text Messaging
Creating a Message

  • Click on Messages
  • Click on Start chat
  • Select the recipient and compose the message
  • Click Send when completed

Message Options

  • Click on to include attachments
  • Click on the to take a picture or attach one from the Gallery

Reading a Message

  • Click on the Messages icon
  • Click on the unread message

Quick Settings
Notification Panel
The notification panel displays useful information such as Current time, Battery, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi indicators.
Incoming notifications such as messages, emails, and missed calls will also be displayed.

Shortcut buttons
The shortcut buttons on the notification panel allows easy access to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location Access, among other settings and can be rearranged to the users liking.
Configure the shortcut buttons

  • Drag down the notification panel
  • Click on
  • Drag to rearrange icons

Using your Mobile Internet
Accessing the web
From the home screen, click on to browse the internet
Connecting to Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi allows mobile phones to connect to the internet wirelessly.
Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi and select a Network
Bluetooth® Connectivity
Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows your device to connect to peripherals such as headsets and speakers.
Turn on/off
Drag down notification panel and click on
Pairing devices
Settings > Connected devices > Pair new device > Available devices > Pair
