Before you begin…

Intended use
The device is designed to clean room air and is only intended for use in private households. The product may be operated only in compliance with the operating, maintenance, and repair conditions contained in these Instructions for Use and under observance of all safety instructions.
This product is not intended for commercial use. Generally acknowledged accident prevention regulations and enclosed safety instructions must be observed.
Only perform work described in these instructions for use. Any other use is improper. The manufacturer will not assume responsibility for damage resulting from such use.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
Danger notices and information are clearly marked throughout these instructions for use. The following symbols are used:

DANGER! Direct danger to life and risk of injury! A directly dangerous situation that may lead to death or severe injuries.
WARNING! Probable danger to life and risk of injury! A generally dangerous situation that may lead to death or severe injuries.
CAUTION! Possible risk of injury! A dangerous situation that may lead to injuries.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device! The situation may lead to property damage.
Note: Information to help you reach a better understanding of the processes involved.

For your safety

General safety instructions

  • To operate this device safely, the user must have read and understood these instructions for use before using the device for the first time.
  • Observe all safety instructions! Failure to do so may cause harm to you and others.
  • Retain all instructions for use and safety instructions for future reference.
  • If you sell or pass the device on, you must also hand over these operating instructions.
  • The device must only be used when it functions properly. If the product or part of the product is defective, it must be taken out of operation and disposed of correctly.
  •  Never use the device in a room where there is a danger of explosion or in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gases.
  • Always ensure that a device that has been switched off cannot be restarted unintentionally.
  • Do not use devices with an on/off switch that does not function correctly.
  • Keep children away from the device! Keep the device out of the way of children and other unauthorized persons.
  • Do not overload the device. Do not use the device for purposes for which it is not intended.
  • Exercise caution and only work when in good condition: If you are tired, or ill, if you have ingested alcohol, medication, or illegal drugs, do not use the device, as you are not in a condition to use it safely.
  • Ensure that children are not able to play with the device.
  • Always comply with all applicable domestic and international safety, health, and working regulations.

Electrical safety

  • The device may only be connected to a socket that is correctly installed and grounded.
  • The fuse must be a residual current circuit breaker with a measured residual current of no more than 30 mA.
  • Make sure that the power supply corresponds with the connection specifications of the device before it is connected.
  • The device may only be used within the specified limitations for voltage and power (see type plate).
  • Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands! Always pull out the mains plug at the plug and not by the cable.
  • Do not bend, crush, pull or drive over the power cable, protect from sharp edges, oil and heat.
  • Do not lift the device using the cable or use the cable for purposes other than intended.
  • Check the plug and cable before each use.
  • If the power cable is damaged immediately disconnect the plug. Never use the device if the power cable is damaged.
  • If the device is not in use make sure the plug is pulled out.
  • Make sure that the device is switched off before plugging in the main cable.
  • Make sure that the device is switched off before unplugging it.
  • Disconnect the power supply before transporting the device.
  • If the power connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s customer service department or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent risks.

Device-specific safety instructions

  • The product must be installed in an upright and stable position.
  • Ensure the intake and exhaust air can circulate freely at all times.
  • Keep the intake openings free from dirt and loose objects.
  • Protect the product from splash water.
  • Do not place objects in the product’s openings.
  • Do not cover or transport the product when it is operating.
  • Do not place containers of water, e.g. vases, on the product.
  • Do not pull on the mains connection cable to move or shift the product.
  • Protect the product from direct sunlight.
  • Keep the product away from radiators and other sources of heat.
  • Do not stand or sit on the product.
  • If the product has not been used for a prolonged period and you notice a burnt smell when starting the device or the mains connection cable and plug become hot, switch off the device, unplug from the mains socket and contact your dealer.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Only use parts that comply with the original specification, when repairing the appliance. The electrical and mechanical parts of this appliance are vital to prevent safety hazards.
  • The appliance must be stored in a way as to avoid mechanical damage.
  • Symbols appearing on your device may not be removed or covered. Signs on the device that are no longer legible must be replaced immediately.

Read and observe the instructions for use before using the product for the first time.

Setting up

NOTICE! Risk of product damage! The product must be installed in an upright and stable position.

  1. Carefully remove your device from the box and plastic bag.

  2. Place the device on a stable and flat surface.
    – For proper airflow, place the device away from the walls or furniture by at least 30 cm.
    – Make sure the air outlet is not blocked.

  3. Before using, remove the filter and then remove and discard the bags.

  4. Plug the power cord into the correct voltage of the socket outlet.

Note: When moving the device, please hold the handle on the rear surface.

Operation

Check before switching on!
DANGER! Risk of injury! The product may only be put into operation if no faults are found during the check-up. It is crucial that any defective parts are replaced before the product is used again.

Check the safe condition of the product:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.

6. [POWER] button [ ]:
– Press this button to turn on or switch off the unit.
7 . [AUTO] button:
– Press this button to turn on or switch off the auto mode. In auto mode, the [AUTO] indicator lights up on the display, the appliance adjusts fan speed according to the air quality automatically. Air quality is indicated in the light color of the display: blue → yellow → orange → red (blue light indicates the best air quality whereas red color indicates the worst air quality).
– If pressing the Speed button , the [AUTO] mode will quit, then speed adjustment becomes manual.
8. [SLEEP] button :
– Press this button, and after 10 seconds, the LED indicator will dim.
9. [SPEED] button :
– Press this button to adjust fan speed: Low, Medium, High, Turbo.
10. [Child Lock] button :
– Press this button for 3–5 seconds to enter Child Lock mode, and then press this button for 3–5 seconds again to exit Child Lock mode. In Child Lock mode, the appliance does not response when pressing any other buttons.
11. [TIMER] button :
– By pressing this button, the purifier can be timed to operate for 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h,  8h, 9h. It will stop automatically when time elapses.

Note: When the appliance is not in use, switch it off and unplug it.

Cleaning and maintenance

DANGER! Risk of injury! Always pull the mains plug out before commencing any work on the device.

To clean the Body
– Wipe it with a soft damp cloth.
Installing & removing filters **Filter replaces indicator**
After operating 4320 hours, the [replace filter] light will turn on on the display, meaning that it needs to replace the filter. After replacing the filter, please press the Power button to reset the indicator light.  An extended press on the Power button can restart the system.

Note: 3 in 1 filter will last approximately 6 months.

– Open the front cover from the top.
– Remove the 3-in-1 filter by pulling the two strips.

– Insert a new 3-in-1 filter into the appliance. Make sure the new filter is placed in the correct direction. The strip (12) should be on the top side of the filter. The wrong direction of the filter inserted may damage the appliance.
– Reattach the front cover of the unit and securely latch it into place.

Cleaning & maintaining the 3-in-1 filter
– The air purifier should be cleaned at least once every month and the outer Activated Carbon Filter attached to the HEPA Filter should be cleaned every month by a vacuum cleaner. More frequent cleaning may be required depending on environmental conditions.
– Clean the filter with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt.
Note: Only the Pre-filter is washable and makes sure the pre-filter is dry when fixing back the pre-filter to the 3-in-1 filter. The 3-in-1 filter is one filter system. The multiple layers include the Pre-filter, Activated Carbon  Filter, and HEPA Filter.

Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t work…

DANGER! Risk of injury! Improper repairs can result in the product functioning unsafely. This endangers yourself and your environment.

Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You can easily remedy most of these yourself. Check against the following table first before contacting Service. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly money too.

Insufficient air flow| Check that the filters are clean Check for any obstructions in the air inlet and outlet

The unit will not start| Check the power supply and electric fuses. Check that the Front Cover is latched firmly and correctly according to the instruction. Check that the Filter is firmly and correctly
placed.
Excessive noise| Check for any foreign objects in contact with the fan. The filter may be clogged
and needed for replacement. The foam sealing gaskets have been installed incorrectly.
Uneven positioning.

If you cannot eliminate the error/fault yourself, please contact the service directly. Please be aware that any improper repairs will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs may be incurred.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance
A crossed-out wheelie bin icon means: Batteries and rechargeable batteries, electrical or electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. They may contain substances that are harmful to the environment and human health. Consumers must dispose of waste electrical devices, spent portable batteries, and rechargeable batteries separately from household waste at an official collection point to ensure that these items are processed correctly. Information on returning these items is available from the seller. Sellers are required to accept these items free of charge.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries, which are not permanently installed in waste electrical devices, must be removed prior to disposal and must be disposed of separately. Lithium batteries and battery packs in all systems must only be returned to a collection point when discharged. Batteries must always be protected against short circuits by covering the poles with adhesive tape.

All end users are responsible for deleting any personal data stored on waste devices prior to their disposal.

Disposal of the packaging
**** The packaging consists of cardboard and correspondingly marked plastics that can be recycled.
– Make these materials available for recycling.
