KGEAR GA201 2x 125W Compact Power Amplifier
Product Information
- The GA201 is a compact 2-Channel power amplifier designed for high performance applications for permanent installations such as retail shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs, disco bars, and residential areas. It is the perfect companion for driving the KGEAR GF, GCF, GWF loudspeakers and the GS6 subwoofer. The compact modular design allows for up to 6 GA201 elements (12 channels) to be fitted into 1 rack unit.
- The GA201 has a rear panel with various connectors including a 3.5mm stereo minijack IN input connector to feed the audio amplifier with a reliable audio signal. There is also a LINK stereo minijack connector that can be used to route the input signal to another GA201 audio amplifier.
- The front panel features a power switch and volume potentiometer, as well as a status LED.

Product Usage Instructions
- Unpacking: Open the package and remove the GA201 power amplifier.
- AC MAINS Supply: Connect the dedicated AC/DC power adapter to a power outlet and plug the DC-IN connector into the GA201.
- Wiring: Use a 3.5mm stereo minijack cable to connect the audio source to the IN input connector on the rear panel of the GA201.
- Speaker Connection: Prepare the speaker cable with 2.5/2-ST-5.08 euroblock plugs matching the loudspeaker polarity. Connect the right channel output connector to the right speaker and the left channel output connector to the left speaker.
- Linking Multiple Amplifiers: If you want to route the audio signal to another GA201 audio amplifier, use a stereo minijack cable to connect the LINK connector on one GA201 to the IN input connector on another GA201.
- Power On and Volume Adjustment: Turn on the power switch located on the front panel of the GA201. Adjust the volume using the volume potentiometer.
- Cleaning: To clean the GA201, use only a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives. Avoid spraying liquids near the product or allowing liquids to spill into any openings.
- Rack Mount Assembly: If desired, you can rack mount the GA201 using the G-RACKMINI accessory. Up to 6 GA201 units can be installed in one rack unit.

Unpacking
Each KGEAR device is inspected before leaving the factory. Upon arrival, carefully inspect the shipping carton, then examine and test your new device. If you find any damage, immediately notify the shipping company. Check that the following parts are supplied with the product:
- 1x Amplifier unit
- 1x Power supply
- 1x Patch cable with 3,5 mm minijack
- 2x loudspeaker plugs 2,5/ 2-ST-5,08
AC MAINS Supply
In order to switch on the GA201 audio amplifier use the dedicated AC/DC power adapter provided in the package.
- Connect the GA201 audio amplifier to the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter to a reliable inlet feeding 100-240V ~ AC, 50-60 Hz.
- Rotate clockwise the front potentiometer and set the output power.

Use the 3,5 mm (1/8 in) stereo minijack IN input connector to feed the audio amplifier with a reliable audio signal.

The LINK stereo minijack connector can be used to route the input signal to another GA201 audio amplifier.

Prepare the speaker cable: set the 2,5/ 2-ST-5,08 euroblock plugs matching the loudspeaker polarity.

Service
To obtain service:
- Please have the serial number(s) of the unit(s) available for reference.
- Contact the official KGEAR distributor in your country: find the Distributors and Dealers list on www.kgear.it website. Please describe the problem clearly and completely to the Customer Service.
- You will be contacted back for on-line servicing.
- If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, you may be required to send the unit in for service. In this instance, you will be provided with an RA (Return Authorization) number which should be included on all shipping documents and correspondence regarding the repair. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Any attempt to modify or replace components of the device will invalidate your warranty. Service must be performed by an authorized K-array service center.
Cleaning
Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing. Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives. Do not use any sprays near the product or allow liquids to spill into any openings.
Rack Mount Assembly
The GA201 audio amplifier can be rack mounted with the G-RACKMINI accessory. Up to 6 GA201 units can be installed in one rack unit.
Installation
- According to Table 35 of IEC/EN 62368- 1:2018, equipments are suitable for mounting at heights ≤ 2 m.
- Install in a well ventilated location at 35°C (95°F) max environment temperature.
