CERAKOTE Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant Kit
IMPORTANT
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING
PREPARING THE SURFACE
- Park the vehicle in the shade or out of the sun.
- Clean the glass surface with your preference of glass cleaner.
- Ensure all surfaces are cool to the touch before application.
GLASS CLEANER APPLICATION
- Start by wetting the entire windshield with water.
- While wearing the supplied gloves, use the Step 1 Glass Cleaning Wipes to prep your windshield for coating. Thoroughly scrub the glass using one wipe for each half of the windshield.
- Allow the Glass Cleaner to sit for 2 minutes.
- Rinse extremely well with running water, ensuring no cleaner is left on window or surrounding surfaces.
Note:
If Step 1 Cleaner or Step 2 Coating gets on anything but glass, don’t worry, just wipe it off immediately with a clean damp cloth.
RAPID CERAMIC GLASS COAT APPLICATION
- Dry glass completely.
- Gently shake bottle for approximately 1 O seconds.
- Start by lightly misting the provided microfiber towel with the Rapid Ceramic Coating.
- Spray a light coat directly to the glass surface. Using the microfiber towel, wipe the coating evenly across the surface to ensure full coverage.
- Flip the towel to a clean dry side and buff the coating to a crystal clear finish! That’s it, you’re done!
- Rapid Ceramic Glass Coat will cure for approximately 2 hours.
IMPORTANTI DO NOT EXPOSE TO MOISTURE DURING THE 2HOUR CURE.
TIPS & FAQ’s
- Can I reapply? Yes, multiple layers will improve performance attributes. Rapid Ceramic Glass Coat can be reapplied at any time to a clean dry surface.
- I missed a spot and can see haze: If the coating has cured for more than two hours, simply reapply the Ceramic Glass Sealant to the hazy area and buff to a shine.
