Before you start
These instructions are for your safety. Please read the following instructions and the sections of “Installation, Care and maintenance” carefully before proceeding with the installation and use of this appliance. Keep the instruction manuals for future reference.
WARNING: All installation work must be carried out by a suitably qualified person, strictly following local building regulations and these instructions. If in doubt, contact a professional.

  • To avoid the risks that are always present when you use an electrical appliance it is important that this microwave is installed correctly and that you read the safety instructions carefully to avoid misuse and hazards. After unpacking the microwave please check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance but contact Customer Services on 0800 324 7818 (UK) and 1800 932 230 (Eire).
  • Check the package and make sure you have all of the parts listed and decide upon the appropriate location for your appliance.
  • This appliance contains glass so please take care with fitting or handling to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.
  • The specification plate shown on this appliance displays all the necessary identification information for ordering replacement parts.
  • If you sell the appliance, give it away, or leave it behind when you move house, please ensure that you pass on this manual so that the new owner can become familiar with the appliance and its safety warnings.
  • Before using the appliance for the first time, remove all packaging and clean all parts. Please see the details given in the `Care and Maintenance section.

  • Metallic containers for food and beverages are not allowed during microwave cooking.

  • When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the microwave due to the possibility of ignition.

  • The microwave is intended for heating food and beverages. Drying of food or clothing and heating of warming pads, slippers, sponges, damp cloth and similar may lead to the risk of injury, ignition or fire.

  • If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.

  • Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore care must be taken when handling the container.

  • The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.

  • The microwave should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed.

  • Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the microwave since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.

  • Failure to maintain the microwave in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

  • Do not operate the appliance without any food in the cooking compartment. Operating without food can damage the appliance.

  • Dishes can become very hot due to the heated food. Therefore, always use oven gloves to take the dishes out of the appliance.

  • Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open flames (e.g. candles) on top of or beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water (e.g. vases) on or near the appliance.

  • Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  • The lamp inside the appliance is used for illuminating the cooked food. It is not intended for household room illumination.

  • Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. · Use this appliance only for its intended use.

  • This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  • Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
    Warning! The appliance door or exterior surfaces may become hot during operation. Exercise caution when children and vulnerable people are present. The danger of burns!

  • Do not try to operate the appliance with the door open, as operation with the door open may result in the emission of hazardous radiation. Do not make any changes to the security lock (or the door lock).

  • Keep the appliance’s ventilation openings free. Do not insert any sharp objects into the appliance. This may result in an electrical shock!

  • To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames.

  • For additional protection, we recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to your appliance. The installation should be done by an experienced electrician.

  • Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the appliance can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to completely switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.

  • Only use the accessories that come with the appliance

  • Do not use this appliance to reheat food in heat-retaining bags intended for normal ovens, such as roasting bags. Such heat-retaining bags usually contain a thin layer of aluminum foil that reflects microwaves. This reflected energy could, in turn, cause the outer paper covering to become so hot that it ignites.

  • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which may result in the shattering of the glass.

  • Do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners to clean the appliance.

  • Do not use the appliance for deep frying food. Do not leave it unattended when cooking with oils and fats as these can be a fire hazard if allowed to overheat.

  • Do not use the cooking compartment to store paper products, cooking utensils, etc., when the appliance is not used.

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers do clean the microwave door. This could scratch the door surface and result in the glass cracking.

  • Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating correspond with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating label.

  • Do not connect the appliance to the main supply by an extension cord or multi-socket unit. The danger of overloading and overheating!

  • For safety reasons, this class I appliance is provided with a plug with an earth connection. Always connect this appliance to a mains wall outlet with a protective earthing connection.

  • Do not cook directly on the ceramic plate. It can crack and cause injury!

  • Exercise caution when cooking or reheating food with high sugar content. If heated for too long, the sugar may caramelize or ignite.

  • The appliance must not be installed behind a decorative door as this can cause overheating of the appliance.

  • This appliance complies with all current European safety legislation, however, the manufacturer must emphasize that this compliance does not prevent the surfaces of the appliance from heating up during use and remaining hot during its operation.

  • Make sure that any pre-installation work on repositioning electrical sockets, gas, and water supplies has been carried out by a suitably qualified person to comply with all local regulations before you start the installation.

  • When you are ready to start make sure you have the right tools to hand, plenty of space, and a clean dry area for assembly.

  • Do not rush, read the instructions first and familiarise yourself with the sequence before you begin.

  • Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury, and damage to the appliance and your property.

  • For domestic use only.

  • Do not use this appliance outdoors, in bathrooms or humid environments or in places where it can get wet.
    CAUTION: The cooking process has to be supervised. A short-term cooking process has to be supervised continuously.

  • Cooking utensils may get hot due to the heat transferred from the heated food to the utensil.

You may need oven gloves to hold the utensil.

  • Take care when removing lids from food packages after heating as steam is present.
  • Always install the appliance into a specific tall oven housing unit.
  • Care should be taken not to displace the turntable when removing containers from the appliance.
  • Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately.
  • If the appliance has a child safety device, this should be activated.
  • Do not install or use a damaged appliance.
  • Do not change the specification of this appliance.
  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or when it has contact with water.
  • Do not apply pressure on the open door.
  • Do not use the appliance as a work surface or as a storage surface.

WARNING: When the appliance is operated in the combination mode, children should only use the microwave under adult supervision due to the temperatures generated.
Before you start
All installations must be carried out by a competent person or qualified electrician. Before connecting to the mains supply ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. This appliance is supplied with a fitted plug suitable for use in your country.
WARNING: This is a Class I appliance and MUST be earthed.
This appliance is supplied with a 3-core mains cable colored as follows:
Brown = L or Live
Blue = N or Neutral
Green and Yellow = E or Earth
The replacement fuse must be rated at 13 Amps (the UK only). Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Radio interference. The operation of a microwave can cause radio wave

interference with other devices operating in its vicinity such as radio, and television. Wi-Fi, wireless telephones, and similar equipment.
You can reduce or minimize the interference by:
•Relocating the microwave in relation to the other devices.
•Changing the orientation between the microwave and the other devices.
•Ensuring the microwave and other devices are plugged into separate ring mains or circuits.
The oven light dims during use.| This is normal. The light output may change depending on the power used.
Steam is present in the microwave.| This is normal. Ensure the microwave is kept clean and dry after use.
The microwave has no power.| Check the electrical supply and ensure that any fuses or circuit breakers have not operated. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Customer Services for advice.
The microwave does not start cooking.| Ensure nothing is blocking the door and it is fully closed. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Customer Services for advice.
The microwave makes grinding noises during operation.| This may be due to food residues under the glass tray or on the roller wheels. Ensure all parts are cleaned thoroughly before use.

Recycling & Disposal

Waste electrical products (WEEE) should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local governmental authority, domestic waste disposal services or the retailer where the product was bought for recycling advice.
The wheelie bin symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product cannot be treated as normal household waste. This product must be handed over to an electric and electronic equipment collection point for recycling. By ensuring that this product is disposed of correctly, you will help to avoid possible negative consequences for the environment and public health, which could occur if this product is not handled correctly.
