CAUTIONS & BEST PRACTICES
- If the Compliance Kiosk appears to be damaged or is not functioning properly, please contact WatchGas or a local WatchGas distributor.
- Avoid the station encountering liquids. Compliance Kiosk cannot be mounted in an outdoor location that could be exposed to rain or wet conditions.
- Compliance Kiosk has no hazardous location approvals and can only be used in a safe and non-hazardous environment known to be free of toxic and/or flammable gas.
- Servicing can only be carried out by a WatchGas office or trained service technician.
- The warranty does not cover electrical surges, physical and/or water damages.

- To ensure personal safety, read Safety Information and Warnings before using the Compliance Kiosk.
- Use the Compliance Kiosk only as specified by the manufacturer. Failure to do so may impair the protection provided by the Compliance Kiosk. The safety and security of any system or network incorporating the Compliance Kiosk and its accessory components is the responsibility of the assembler of the system.
- Follow all required National Electric Codes (NEC) and safety codes.
- Do not attempt to adjust, disassemble, or service the equipment.
- Only use the supplied charging adapter, USB C 5V charger 15 Watt.
PREPARE FOR USE
- Ensure WatchGas software “Site Unique ID” that has been provided.
- Ensure internet connectivity either by WIFI or installing a SIM for Cellular connection.
INTRODUCTION
The WatchGas Compliance Kiosk works as a terminal to allow the user to check- in the gas detector and provides a full overview of the device status including any unreported events. The WatchGas compliance Kiosk automatically sends all data to a designated software site, providing a cost effective overview of fleet health, predictive maintenance, events and alarms. Furthermore the WatchGas Compliance Kiosk provides the capability to actively manage detector settings and user assignments.

MOUNTING THE COMPLIANCE KIOSK
The WatchGas Compliance Kiosk is intended for wall mount or on a stand.
Ensure the power cable is fastened in order to avoid damaging it and potential
trip hazards.
See drawings below.
Wall Mounting
The provided mounting brackets can be used to mount the Compliance Kiosk to a
wall or table. WatchGas recommends checking the strength of the mounting area
and selecting the proper mounting hardware before mounting the Compliance
Kiosk. Mounting the Compliance Kiosk should be performed by a qualified
installation contractor.
ENTER SET UP
Click upper left icon and enter password.
Setup Menu
Saved Configuration Files: Setting up reference files to compare gas detectors against.
Select Unit type and model.
File Function
To set the file for use for compliance and the settings required in the
detector such as alarm level and functions.
Event Log Menu
Shows all units checked in event list.
Compliance Reader Setup
To enable the software activation, enter the Site Unique ID to connect the
account’s specific site.This number is provided with the software solution
purchase.
Application Setting
Flush Application Data cleans unneeded data after 30 days.
Assign Check Function: if the gas detector does not have an User ID the App
will require you to enter one.
Unassign Site ID: To be used in Device link mode.
Send GPS – not utilized.
Change password option.
HOW TO USE
Activate the NFC.
Activate the NFC on the detector.
Tap the detector to the Compliance Kiosk by means of inserting in the clip
holder.
Follow the Compliance Kiosk screen for actions.
Note the action here.
After confirming if needed.
Exit the compliance check.
INSERTING THE DETECTOR
Step 1
Power on the gas detector if required, if it is a 2- or 3-year SST1, then the
device will already be activated. Turn on NFC.
Step 2 Switch on the Compliance Kiosk NFC.
Step 3 Tap the unit and allow time for data transfer.
Step 4 Confirm any actions needed.
Step 5 Exit the compliance check.

MAINTENANCE
The best practices for maintenance are to perform routine firmware updates. The WatchGas Compliance Kiosk can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents, soaps, polishes, or immerse the WatchGas Compliance Kiosk in liquids. Completely turn off unit and disconnect power supply before cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Server connectivity:
- Check internet connectivity.
- Check Compliance software is active.
- Check the firmware is updated.
Detector not connecting:
- Redo the test.
- Verify NFC is enabled on the detector.
- Test a known functional detector in the station to verify station function.
Station fail:
- Clear fault and retry.
- Contact service representative.
