Hub Installation Guide
A step-by-step guide to install the Hub with CENTEGIX’s CrisisAlert™

Hub Setup Instructions

  1.  Install Hub
  • When installing a Hub, the first step is to scan the device in accurately on the map
  • Remove the middle screw holding the face place on the outlet
  • Place the screw into the top hole on the Hub case and screw device in (making sure to only block the bottom outlet).
  • Using the power supply provided plug in to the hub and 120 V outlet inside the Hub case.
  • Ensure the Hub has power and is connected to the network. This is done by the hub showing 3 red lights and a flashing 4th light.
  • Place case back on the front of the Hub. This should encapsulate the power supply on the Hub. On the top of the case there is a hole for a security screw. Insert the security screw and screw it in. This helps to ensure that the device cannot be opened and
    unplugged.

DO NOT INSTALL HUBS IN THE FOLLOWING PLACES:

  • Bathrooms
  • GFI outlet
  • An Outlet which is controlled by a switch
  • Hallways (exception approved CENTEGIX Customer Operations)
