BUILT UP WHITE NOISE

Before use
White noise does not have to work for everyone right away. Fortunately, 97% of little ones notice positive results within a week. White noise is a new sleep ritual and can take time.
Therefore, please be patient.
Step 1.
Choosing your sound
Every child/adult is different and will have a preference for certain sounds.
Try to play with this and see how your little one reacts to each sound. Often sounds from the womb, the heart and white noise are considered favorites.
Step 2.
Volume and placement
This depends on how much noise is in your environment. Do you have a busy environment with lots of noise?
Make sure the Numsy is facing your child from that angle.
It’s fine to leave the Numsy in your child’s crib, but make sure it’s out of the way so your little one can sleep soundly and not play with it. The sound is fine at 75-85 decibels (after all, that’s how loud the sound was inthe womb).
Also make sure no blanket or fabric can fall over the Numsy as this may cause overheating.

PHASING OUT WHITE NOISE

White noise can be eliminated from any point in time, yet we recommend that you approach it gradually.
Turn down the volume ever so slightlyover 2-4 weeks. Your baby will thus become more independent day by day in putting himself to sleep. There will always be down days. If this happens, try to take 1 step back to thevolume level of the day before.
Repeat this process until your child has learned to sleep independently thanks to white noise.

Proper use

To prevent damage or risk of electrical shock, do not expose this unit to dust, vibration, rain, water or liquids of any kind while the multipurpose port cover is open.
Do not place the device near open flames or extreme heat sources. Always place your device on a flat, firm and stable surface.
Do not place any objects on top of the speaker.
Do not use excessive force when pressing buttons or handling the speaker.
When cleaning your speaker, use a dry, soft cloth or a minimally damp cloth without corrosive solvents or cleaning agents.

Safety
To avoid fire, shock or injury, do not disassemble or replace any parts of this speaker. If your unit becomes damaged or needs repair, contact a professional service center or qualified service center for assistance.
Do not do this yourself. We are not responsible for personal injury or property damage caused by improper use of this product. Do not allow the use of this speaker by small children without proper adult supervision.
Warranty
Your new White Noise Machine is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. Details of the warranty are as follows: for a period of one (1) year from the date of retail purchase, Numsy warrants this product to be free from any defects in manufacture, aterials and workmanship. During the warranty period, we will, to the best of our ability, repair or replace defective parts free of charge within a reasonable period of time. If the product has been used improperly, we will not provide a warranty.

DO’S & DON’TS

Do’s
Take the Numsy everywhere your child goes; in the car, in the crib when you go out, to family or friends, to daycare. This way you take a piece of home with you wherever you go and your child will not get homesick.
Do’s
Try to gently get your child used to the Numsy. Let your child see and hear the features such as breathing light and sounds. After all, it should become a nice sleep association!
Don’t
Never turn down the sound while sleeping, this can be noticed during the transition from deep to light sleep and result in awakening from sleep.
Don’t
Don’t try to give up right away, a new sleep routine takes time. Your baby needs to get used to this and associate it with sleeping.
Don’t
Don’t charge longer than necessary, this can cause battery problems.
Don’t
Do not use the Numsy while it is in the charger. This may reduce the battery life causing it to not fully charge.
