GETTING STARTED
Use the same set up as for Burger Balance.

HOW TO PLAY

The basic gameplay is the same as Burger Balance, but in this version, players are not able to stack two identical burger filling pieces on top of each other once the burger has reached the correct number of levels. For example, a player cannot stack a cheese slice so that it touches another already stacked cheese slice. If a player stacks a filling piece that touches an identical pre-stacked piece, they are out of the game.

To make things even more challenging, players are also unable to use their fingers for this version! Instead, they must use two filling pieces (either two bacon strips or two pickles would work best) to pick up and then stack the pieces onto the burger. If a player drops their filling piece, they must stack an additional piece during their turn.

Play continues until either one player is left in the game; all the filling pieces are used up, or the whole burger falls down.
HOW TO PLAY

GETTING STARTED

Place the ketchup bottle upright on a level surface in reach of all players. Place the bottom bun piece on top of the bottle with the flat surface facing upwards. Place the top bun and all the burger filling pieces scattered across the playing surface near the bottle.
GETTING STARTED

Al players agree on how many layers of burger filling pieces they will stack upwards before adding the top bun. We recommend starting at 12 layers – the lower the number of layers, the harder the game will be.

HOW TO PLAY

The player who last ate a burger starts the game by rolling the die.

The player must pick a filing piece to stack in the colour that matches the one shown on the die. Using one hand, the player stacks their filling piece on top of the bottom bun, then the player to their left rolls the die, and play continues until the players reach the agreed upon number of filling layers. Make sure to keep count!

Once layering is complete, the top bun piece is placed on top of the final filling piece. This counts as a player’s turn and play continues. You are now ready to stack out!

STACKING OUT RULES
During the stacking out, all players must remain seated. Players can only use one hand to stack the pieces, and they can rotate the bottle with one hand to add to the opposite side. If at any point a player runs out of pieces that match the colour they have rolled, they are allowed to roll again.

Players can only stack their piece between the two buns. If a player causes any filling pieces to fall during their turn, they must replace double the number of pieces that have fallen, including the pieces that fell. For example, if two pieces fall, you must add four — the two pieces that have fallen and then use the die to decide which extra pieces to add. Any player that causes a total of four or more pieces to fall during their turn is out of the game.

WINNING THE GAME

  • If a player causes the entire burger to fall down, the game is over and that player is the loser.
  • If players are eliminated one-by-one, the last player left in the game is the winner.
  • The game is considered a draw if all the filling pieces are successfully stacked and the burger remains standing. If this happens, try again with a fewer number of levels for a more challenging game!

TOP TIP!
Remember it is a competitive game! The more your piece is unbalanced, the more chance the next player will knock some over and you will win. Always stack with attack!
