Product Information

The Atomic Digital Wall Clock with Indoor/Outdoor Temperature (Model: 513-1918S) is a high-precision clock that displays accurate time and temperature readings. It uses atomic timekeepingtechnology to automatically synchronize with the WWVB Atomic Time Signal, ensuring precise and reliable timekeeping. The clock features a digital display with easy-to-read numbers and buttons located at the top for convenient access to various settings and functions. It requires 3 AAA batteries for operation. The included Temperature Sensor (TH Sensor TX191) requires 2 AA batteries and is designed to measure the indoor and outdoor temperature.

Product Usage Instructions

Power Up

Insert 2 AA batteries into the Temperature Sensor.
Insert 3 AAA batteries into the Atomic Clock.
Once the sensor is reading your Clock, place the sensor outside. You can refer to the sensor mounting video at bit.ly/th_sensor_mounting for guidance on how to mount the sensor.

Buttons

The clock has several buttons located at the top:

SNOOZE: Press to exit the Settings Menu. When the alarm sounds, press to snooze the alarm for 10 minutes.
ALARM: Hold to enter Alarm Settings. Press to activate/deactivate the alarm. An alarm icon will show when the alarm is active.
SET: Hold to enter the Settings Menu. Press to change the date display.
PLUS (+): Hold to search for the Outdoor Sensor. Press to manually search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal. In the Settings Menu, press to increase a value, and hold to increase it quickly.
MINUS (-): In the Settings Menu, press to decrease a value, and hold to decrease it quickly.

Hold the SET button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
Press and release the + or – button to adjust the values.
Press the SET button to confirm and move to the next item.

The Settings Menu includes options for setting the time zone, language, atomic time, custom date display, alarm settings, and more.

Atomic Time

Press and release the SET button to change the custom date display.

Alarm

To set the alarm:

Hold the ALARM button to enter the Alarm Settings Menu.
Press and release the + or – button to adjust the flashing values.
Press the ALARM button to confirm and move forward.

To activate/deactivate the alarm:

The alarm is active when set. Press and release the ALARM button to deactivate or activate the alarm. The Alarm Time will show briefly, and an Alarm Icon will appear when the alarm is active.
To silence a sounding alarm, press any button except SNOOZE. This will silence the alarm for 24 hours.
To snooze the alarm, press the SNOOZE button when the alarm sounds. This will silence the alarm for 10 minutes, and the Alarm Icon will flash.
Note: The alarm will sound with increasing frequency for two minutes and then shut off completely if not deactivated.

Search for Sensors

If you are not seeing any sensor readings or dashes, follow these steps:

Hold the PLUS (+) button to search for all sensors. The Reception Indicator will animate.
If the sensor is still not connected after 3 minutes, bring it inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and station.
Press any button on the station 20 times and leave the parts to sit for a few moments with the power off.
Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor and power up your station again.
If your sensor data is still not appearing after these steps, please contact our support staff or visit bit.ly/basic_restart for additional help.

Sensor Placement & Mounting

For optimal performance, place the Temperature Sensor outside and follow the instructions provided in the sensor mounting video at bit.ly/th_sensor_mounting.

Power Up

Insert 3-AAA batteries into your Atomic Clock.

The buttons are located at the top of your clock.

Hold the SET button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
Press and release the + or – button to adjust values.
Press the SET button to confirm and move to next item.

Language : Whichever language is selected, the following instructions and weekday will be presented in that language.
Atomic Off : When Atomic Off is selected, you will move directly to the Hour setting.
Weekday: Weekday will set automatically when Year, Month and Date are set.

Atomic Time

Your Clock will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
Press the PLUS (+) button to manually start or stop search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal.
While searching, the Tower Icon will flash. The Tower Icon will be solid when the WWVB Signal is received by your clock.

Custom Date Display

TIME ALARM

Set Alarm:

Hold the ALARM button to enter the Alarm Settings Menu.
Press and release the + or – button to adjust the flashing values.
Press the ALARM button to confirm and move forward.

Activate/Deactivate Alarm:
The alarm is active when set.

Press and release the ALARM button to deactivate or activate the alarm. The Alarm Time will show briefly.
The Alarm Icon will show only when alarm is active.

Silence a sounding alarm:
Press any button except SNOOZE to silence alarm for 24 hours.

Snooze:
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 10 minutes. The Alarm Icon will flash.
Note : The alarm will sound with increasing frequency for two minutes, then shut off completely if not deactivated.

Search for Sensors

If you are seeing “NO” or dashes for any sensor readings, please try the following steps:

Hold the PLUS (+) button to search for all sensors. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from the sensor and station.
Press any button on the station 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then power up your station again.

For Accurate Temperature/Humidity Measurements

Insert a mounting screw through the hole at the top to securely mount the sensor. It can also hang from the back using a nail.
Mount the sensor vertically in a protected well-shaded area. Keeping it out of direct weather elements such as sunlight, rain, snow, etc. will help avoid inaccurate readings.
For additional protection against weather elements, a Sensor Weather Shield: bit.ly/weather-shield can be purchased separately.
The maximum wireless transmission range to the station is up to 330ft (100m) in open air. This does not include walls, floors, or other large obstructions.

Low Battery Icons

Low Battery Icon by the Time, replace batteries in the Clock.
Low Battery Icon by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the OutdoorSensor.

The Sensor Weather Shield is designed to protect your outdoor sensor from rain and snow.
This shield will offer limited protection from the sun’s heat.

Care & Maintenance

When batteries of different brand or type are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
