Product Information

The SLGRF20SL Golf Laser Rangefinder is a digital golf distance meter designed to accurately measure distances on the golf course. It features a laser emission/objective lens, laser receiving lens, unit switching button, power/start button, observation eyepiece, rotation-type focusing, and a battery cover. The LCD display shows various icons including scan mode sign, low battery indicator, target indicator, laser indicator, distance data, and unit meter or yard indication.

Operating Instructions

  • A. Start:
    Press START/POWER button for about 1 second and the laser
    Rangefinder monocular will start. The laser indicator will blink when laser is transmitting. If the reflection of the target is too weak, the LCD will display “——-“.

  • B. Eyepiece:
    Eyepiece is adjustable, as shown in picture below. It’s designed for better vision and to resist external lights.

  1. Rotate the focus ring counterclock wise to extend the eyepiece.
  2. Rotate the focus ring clockwise to shorten the eyepiece.
  • C. Pin Seeking (Golf Flag Lock):
    Aim at the golf flag or pin, keep pressing the power button and move it a little left and right until the distance of the flag or sticks is locked and displayed on the LCD. Move a little to left and right in order for the instrument to identify the distance from closest object (the flag or pin).

  • D. Meter/Yard Change:
    Keep pressing the “mode” button for almost 2 seconds, the unit switch between M (meter) and Y (yard)

  • E. Low Battery Icon:
    When icon shows, means the battery is low and should be replaced immediately to avoid inaccuracy.

  • F. Automatic Power OFF
    Laser Rangefinder will automatically power OFF in 20 second without operation

Notice

  1. In order to protect the coating of the lens, do not use your fingers to touch the surface.
  2. Laser Rangefinder has been precisely assembled by instruments, please don’t disassemble by yourself. Please send the device back to the dealer for repairing when needed.
  3. When the lens needs cleaning, please wipe gently with cleaning cloth, do not use other objects to wipe it.
  4. Avoid heavy collision when carrying the object.
  5. Keep the product away from moisture during storage. Please keep it in a dry, cool, and well ventilated place, and avoid direct sunlight, dust and high temperatures.
  6. Rain and fog weather will affect the laser path, which may cause measurement errors.

Warning

  • Do not stare into the laser beam.
  • Eyes can be permanently damaged by looking into the sun with this device.
  • Do not aim the rangefinder directly at the sun as permanent inside component damage will occur.
  • Keep the eyepiece away from direct sunlight.
  • Device is to be stored safely in a temperature environment set to – 4°F – 140°F
