Product Usage Instructions

Before proceeding with the installation of the power cord, ensure that the power cord is NOT plugged in.

Unpack the power cord and straighten it to remove any kinks or tangles.
Locate the cover of the conduit box on the underside of the 19-38 Combo Brush.
Remove the cover to access the electrical connections.
Refer to the picture and diagram on the next page for visual guidance while following the instructions.
Connect the hot (black) wire to the hot terminal clamp connection using the orange clamp.
Connect the neutral (white) wire to the neutral terminal clamp connection using the orange clamp.
Connect the ground (green) wire to the ground connection.
Securely tighten the strain relief tension nut to ensure the power cord is held in place.
Once the power cord is properly installed, you can plug it into a suitable 110 Volt/15 amp power outlet, ensuring that the outlet has a proper ground connection.
You are now ready to use the 19-38 Combo Brush for your woodworking projects.

Danger

Confirm power cord is NOT plugged in before installation.
Confirm power cord and plug are designed and rated for 110 Volt/15 amp, 14 gauge minimum, with ground.

IMPORTANT : Refer to picture and diagram on next page when following these instructions.
IMPORTANT : GFIC protected receptacles tend to trip unnecessarily (e.g. nuisance tripping) and should not be used for the 19-38 Combo.

Unpack cord and straighten.
Remove the cover of the conduit box, on the underside of the conveyor motor box, by removing the screws holding the cover in place.
Loosen (do not remove) the tension nut of the strain relief bushing.
Feed the new cord through the strain relief bushing.
Attach the HOT (black) wire to the black terminal clamp by lifting the orange clamp and sliding the bare end of the black wire into the terminal connector. Press down on the orange clamp to secure the black wire. Confirm the black wire is secure in the terminal clamp and that there is no exposed, non-insulated wire.
Attach the NEUTRAL (white) wire to the white terminal by lifting the orange clamp and sliding the bare end of the white wire into the terminal connector. Press down on the orange clamp to secure the white wire. Confirm the white wire is secure in the terminal clamp and that there is no exposed, non-insulated wire.
Attach the GROUND (green) wire to the ground screw of the conduit box. Confirm a secure connection.
Confirm all electrical connections are secure and tight.
Confirm the wires of the cord are in place within the conduit box and will not be pinched when installing the conduit cover.
Tighten nut of strain relief, securing the power cord. Confirm the Power cord is secure and cannot be pulled from the strain relief.
Re-attach the conduit box cover and secure with the screws.
