Product Information

The product is a pool lift designed to provide accessibility for individuals with mobility limitations. It is ADA compliant and has been third-party tested and verified. The product line includes both fixed and portable pool lifts, with various styles available to accommodate different pool configurations. The pool lifts come with features such as battery operation, battery level LEDs, optional key activation to prevent unauthorized use, an emergency stop button, and a water-resistant hand control. The multiLift2 model is a popular flange mount series that offers increased performance and flexibility. It has a field reversible seating design. The product is available in multiple colors, including Gray Mist, Slate, and Taupe. Actual color may differ due to printing technology. Product Usage Instructions

1. Before purchasing the pool lift, it is important to take accurate measurements of the pool or spa and the required setback on the pool deck. This information will help in selecting the appropriate pool lift model.
2. Record these measurements in S.R.Smith’s online Pool Lift Configurator at srsmith.com/configurators to ensure proper functionality and ADA compliance.
3. When ordering the pool lift, consider whether a new construction jig is required. If so, it can be ordered along with the pool lift or separately ahead of time.
4. Upon receiving the pool lift, unpack the product and ensure that all the necessary parts and accessories are included.
5. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on installation and setup of the pool lift.
6. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines provided in the user manual, including proper use of the battery, hand control, stability strap, and emergency stop button.
7. Regularly check the battery level LEDs to ensure the pool lift has enough power for operation.
8. If any parts or accessories need replacement, refer to the user manual for the corresponding part numbers and order them accordingly.

SELECTING THE RIGHT LIFT
It is important to take several accurate pool or spa measurements and the required setback on a standard pool deck to help with pool lift selection (see page 19). Recording these precise measurements in S.R.Smith’s online Pool Lift Configurator prior to placing your order is required. This deck profile will help ensure the lift selected will function properly, and is ADA compliant.

All pool lifts are powered by a 24 volt, rechargeable battery, which should be left on the charger when not in use.

The 2018 CEC compliant LiftOperator control boxes, batteries and charging systems are not compatible with the standard LiftOperator units. Standard Deck

Summary of ADA Requirements

• Water depth at point of lift entry is no more than 48”.
• When over the deck, the center line of seat is at least 16” from the edge of pool.
• There is a 36” x 48” area of clear deck space on the side of the seat opposite the pool.
• Seat surface is 16-19” from deck when in ready position.
• In the loading area, the slope of the deck is no greater than 1:48.
• Seat is at least 16” wide.
• There are footrests that move with the seat.
• Armrests (optional) are removable or fold clear of the seat to allow user to easily load the lift.
• The lift is user operable from both the deck and water.
• The seat submerges at least 18” into the water.
• Lift capacity is at least 300 lbs/136kg.
