VANCO AM3780 Articulating TV Wall Mount

Product Information

The Articulating TV Wall Mount is designed for televisions ranging from 37” to 80”. It allows you to securely mount your television on a wall, providing an adjustable viewing angle and saving space in your room. The mount is compatible with wooden studs and solid-flat concrete surfaces. If you plan to install the mount on any other type of surface, suitable hardware (commercially available) should be used. Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installation, ensure that you have all the necessary tools and hardware required for mounting the TV wall mount.
  2. Identify a suitable location for mounting your television. Ensure that the chosen surface is a wooden stud or solid-flat concrete.
  3. If the chosen surface is not a wooden stud, obtain suitable hardware from a commercial source.
  4. Hold the TV wall mount against the wall at the desired height and mark the location of the mounting holes using a pencil or marker.
  5. Drill pilot holes into the marked locations using an appropriate drill bit. Ensure that the pilot holes are deep enough to accommodate the mounting hardware.
  6. Attach the mounting brackets to the back of your television using the provided screws. Ensure that they are securely fastened.
  7. Carefully lift your television and align the mounting brackets with the TV wall mount. Slide the brackets onto the mount until they click into place.
  8. Double-check that the television is securely attached to the wall mount by gently pulling on it.
  9. Adjust the articulating arm of the TV wall mount to achieve the desired viewing angle. Tighten any adjustment knobs or screws to lock the position in place.
  10. Test the stability and functionality of the mounted television by gently adjusting the angle and ensuring it remains secure.

The wall structure must be capable of supporting at least a maximum weight of the television. If not, the wall must be reinforced. Proper installation procedure by a qualified service technician, as outlined in the installation instructions, must be adhered to. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury, or even death. Safety measures must be practiced at all times during the installation of this product. Use proper safety gear and tools for the installation procedure to prevent personal injury. Prior to the installation of this product, the installation instructions should be read and completely understood. The installation instructions must be read to prevent personal injury and property damage. Keep these installation instructions in an easily accessible location for future reference.

  • A secure structure must support the weight or load of the display. When mounting to a wall that contains wooden studs, dead center of the wooden stud must be confirmed prior to installation.
  • Do not install on a structure that is prone to vibration, movement, or chance of impact. Failure to do so could result in damage to the display and/or damage to the mounting surface.
  • Do not install near heater, fireplace, direct sunlight, air conditioning, or any other source of direct heat energy. Failure to do so may result in damage to the display and could increase the risk of fire.
  • At least two qualified people should perform the installation procedure. Injury and/or damage can result from dropping or mishandling the display.

NOTE: Recommended mounting surfaces include: wooden studs and solid-flat concrete. If the mount is to be installed on any surface other than wooden studs, use suitable hardware (which is commercially available).
