Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that you read and understand all the instructions provided in the user manual before using the soldering torch.
- Always wear approved eye and face protection while operating the torch.
- Wear protective gloves to avoid burns from hot surfaces.
- Make sure you are familiar with the safety regulations and guidelines set by health and safety authorities and your workshop practices.
- Keep a fire extinguisher nearby in case of emergencies.
- Inspect the torch for any damages or gas leaks before use. Do not use if any issues are detected.
- Handle butane gas with care as it is extremely flammable.
- Point the torch away from your eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
- Never leave the lit torch unattended or put it down while it is still lit.
- Be aware that the flame may not be easily visible in bright daylight.
- Ensure the flame is completely extinguished after use. Do not use water to cool down the torch.
- Operate the torch only in a well-ventilated area to avoid the buildup of flammable gases.
- Avoid using the torch in areas where there are paint fumes, solvents, or other flammable materials.
- Do not operate the torch when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating medication.
- Never hold any workpiece by hand while using the torch.
- Avoid touching the heated area of the workpiece as it will be very hot. Allow it to cool down before handling.
- Do not operate the torch if it is damaged, as this may lead to failure and possible personal injury.
- Avoid touching the top of the torch during or immediately after use, as it will be very hot. Allow it to cool down before touching it.
- Keep the torch out of reach of children and do not allow them to operate it.
- Allow the torch to cool down completely before storing it.
- Store the torch in a safe, dry, and childproof location away from direct sunlight.
- Do not modify the appliance in any way.
- Operate the torch away from flammable materials.
- Do not puncture or expose the torch to fire.
- Ensure the flame is off and the unit is cool before refilling it.
- Do not keep the torch lit for more than 5 minutes.
- After use, allow the torch to cool down before storing it in a well-ventilated area with the flame off and the unit cool.
- Use only Sealey original spare parts for maintenance or repairs.
- Do not use the torch as a cigarette lighter.
- Exercise extra caution when using the torch outdoors on sunny or windy days, as wind may carry the torch’s heat back towards you or unintended areas.
- Always check to ensure no unintended parts or materials are being heated.
- If there is a possibility that unintended material has been heated, wait at least two hours before leaving the area.

- When filled, it will contain flammable gas under pressure

INTRODUCTION
Piezoelectric ignition with anti-flare burner, safety lock and continuous flame switch. Fitted with three position indexing head as well as magnetic stand for hands-free operation. Adjustable flame with a maximum temperature of 1300°C. 45-60 Minute run time with 35ml fuel capacity. Powered by butane (lighter fuel).

OPERATION
- NOZZLE ANGLE (fig.1)
- The nozzle can be adjusted to three locked positions by depressing the button on the side of the head.
- IGNITION SWITCH (fig.2)
- To operate the piezo electric igniter, slide the cover to one side and depress the trigger.
- This will cause a spark to be generated and gas to flow.
- CONTINUOUS FLAME (fig. 1)
- To enable continuous running, depress the small button on the side of the unit. To stop continuous running, depress the button.
- GAS FLOW ADJUSTMENT (fig.1)
- To adjust the gas volume, slide the lever to the desired volume/performance. There are embossed marking to indicate levels 1-4.
- FLAME ADJUSTMENT (fig.1)
- To adjust the flame, rotate the nozzle collar to allow more or less air to be used in the combustion process. There are embossed markings on the unit to indicate max/min.
MAINTENANCE
REFILL
- Fill only with butane gas. It may be hazardous to attempt to fill with other types of gas.
- Refill in a well-ventilated area, away from naked flames, heat sources, combustible materials or another person.
- Ensure the unit is off and cooled before refilling.
- Placing the soldering torch in an upside-down position, Insert the gas canister into the torch refilling valve.
- Fill slowly. DO NOT overfill. When gas starts to flow out, stop filling.
- After filling, wipe lighter and hands dry before Igniting.
- The refilling operation takes some minutes to allow the gas to stabilize.
- For next refilling, let the torch cool down for minimum of 5 minutes before filling the tank.
CLEANING
- Shut down the torch and let it cool completely before cleaning.
- The outside of the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth with a little mild detergent.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the
product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
