Product Usage Instructions

The SolarSaga 80 has two ports for different types of outdoor power products:

DC8020 Port (Figure 1)
This port is compatible with Jackery outdoor power supply E1000Pro/1500/2000Pro. Connect the solar panel to the DC8020 port using the 2m cable provided.

DC8020-DC7909 Port (Figure 2)
This port is compatible with Jackery outdoor power supply E160/240/300/500/1000. Connect the solar panel to the DC8020-DC7909 port using the 2m cable provided.

Note: The product supports parallel connection of up to 3 solar panels (Figure 3). Do not connect more than 3 solar panels in parallel as it may cause cable heating and product damage. An extension cord is provided to extend the scope of use.

Two-Side Power Generation Technology
Use Figure 4 mode in light or calm conditions to avoid blowing down the product. When the wind speed is high, it is recommended to use Figure 5 mode.

Safety Tips

  • Do not place folding solar panels in shaded areas and minimize obstructions like trees and buildings.
  • Do not soak the solar panels in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not clean the solar panel with water; gently wipe it with a damp cloth.
  • Prevent corrosive substances from damaging the solar panels.
  • Do not disassemble the solar panels.
  • Ensure correct connection of the output circuit to the equipment. Do not short-circuit the positive and negative poles. Check for gaps between connectors and insulated connectors to avoid sparks or electrical shocks.
  • Regularly check the connection status of each component, including cables, wires, and plugs.

Warranty
The product is covered by a limited warranty from Jackery for the original purchaser. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 36 months from the date of purchase. Damages from normal wear and tear, alteration, misuse, neglect, accident, service by anyone other than the authorized service center, or acts of God are not included. Proper proof of purchase is required.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. The product has two ports compatible with different types of outdoor power products:
    • DC8020 port applies to Jackery outdoor power supply E1000Pro/1500/2000Pro
    • DC8020-DC7909 port applies to Jackery outdoor power supply E160/240/300/500/1000.
  2. The product supports parallel connection of up to 3 solar panels (Figure 3). Parallel connection of more than 3 solar panels may cause cable heating and product damage
    • Extension cord: A 2m extension cord is equipped. Several extension cords can be connected to extend the scope of use

TWO-SIDE POWER GENERATION TECHNOLOGY

A reflective lined storage bag is provided for the product to improve power generation efficiency through reflecting light. The sun angle changes during the day, and the reflective angle can be adjusted by sticking the magic tape. To avoid blowing down the product, use the mode in Figure 4 in light or calm conditions. When the wind speed is high. it is recommended to use the mode in Figure 5.

SAFETY TIPS

  • Do not flex or bend the folding solar panels.
  • Do not place folding solar panels in shading places, while tree shades, buildings, and any other obstructions should be minimized.
  • Do not soak the solar panels in water or other liguid.
  • Do not clean the solar panel with water, please gently wipe it with a damp cloth
  • Do not use or store solar panels near open flames or flammable materials.
  • Do not scratch the surface of solar panels with sharp objects.
  • Prevent corrosive substances to damage solar panels.
  • Do not step on or place heavy objects on the solar panels.
  • Do not disassemble the solar panels.
  • The output circuit of the solar panels must be correctly connected to the equipment. Please do not short-circuit the positive and negative poles. Ensure that there is no gap between the connector and the insulated connector. If there is a gap, sparks or electrical shocks will occur.
  • Check the connection status of each component, including cables, wires and plugs.
  • The product can not be used by fixed installation, please put the portable solar panels away while wind, hail and other bad weather to avoid product damage or other dangers.
  • Risk of electric shock caused by product damage.
  • Under normal conditions, a photovoltaic module is likely to experience conditions that produce more current and/or voltage than reported at standard test conditions. Accordingly, the values of Is and Voc marked on this module should be multiplied by a factor of 1,25 when determining component voltage ratings, conductor current ratings, and size of controls connected to the PV output.

The waterproof level of this product is IP68. This product can prevent daily water splashing. Please keep the product dry on a daily basis to ensure its service life.
