USER MANUAL

Function Description

– Multi-function animal drive, when the animal enters the area, the infrared sensor is triggered, the red LED lights up, the product senses the animal, and emits ultrasonic waves, voice, and a strong flash of two-color lights that make the animal feel uncomfortable and escape from the area.

Operating Instructions

Sensitivity  button: Sensitivity and sensing distance are adjustable.
Clockwise rotate the knob to increase the range of protection.

Frequency  Dial (0-5).
Turning the knob clockwise to adjust different frequency form 1 to 5 channel.

0n: Off.

1:  13.5kHz-19.5kHz, ultrasonic speakers working, repel animals such as rats, dogs, foxes, ferrets, etc.

Specifications

•  Infrared sensing angle:  110 degrees
•  Sensing distance:  8-9,5m, depending on the size and temperature of the animal. (The larger the animal is, the farther the distance is, the higher the temperature is, and the closer the distance is.)
•  Power supply mode:  3.7V/2000mAh lithium rechargeable battery included, solar energy is 3.7V/2000mAh lithium rechargeable battery charging, (solar panel open circuit voltage: 5.8V: solar panel working current: 20-200mA) or can be charged with an external 5V 500mA adapter. In case of long-term rainy weather, the adapter can be used for charging. During charging, the red indicator light is on; when it is fully charged, green light indicator is on.

About the battery

1. If the battery has not been used for a long time (1 month), the battery may run out. It is recommended to have the battery fully charged for 3-5 times.
2. After the battery has been used for a certain period of time, the life will change and it will be fully charged quickly. In this case, please replace the battery with 3 AA 1.2V rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd or Ni-MH). The better the battery quality is, the better the power is and the better the results are.

3. Please return the rejected batteries to the local recycling center. Please consult the relevant local competent department for-details.

Precautions

1. Sometimes humans have some ultrasound perception. Please keep the product away from the living area. Do not place the product in the activity areas of infants and children.
2. Please do not block the infrared sensor detector. When cleaning the product, clean it with a soft cloth and soap. Do not use chemicals or corrosive cleaning product to prevent damage.

Common problems and solutions

1. After several hours of charging, the machine still doesn’t work.
If s possible that the battery hasn’t been charged at all. If you see a weak yellow light on the infrared sensor when you start charging, it means the battery is loose, or the power cord of the battery is loose. Remove the battery cover and reinstall the battery. Normal charging state is red light, full charge green light. Using 5V 500mA adapter, generally 2-3 hours can be fully charged.

2. The animal is very close, but the machine can’t sense it.
First, check whether the machine switch is off and the battery is charged. After checking the “Sensitivity” knob, adjust it to the far right, so as to increase the induction distance. The maximum induction range can only be within 10 meters. The sensor of the final product can sense the left and right angles within a range of 110 degrees. Although some animals are very close, they cannot be sensed at all because they are not in the sensing Angle.

3. How to check if the battery is alive?
The battery of the machine is running out after A period of normal use. When humans or animals get close to the sensor head, the machine will emit a weak sound or not work at all. At this time, the battery is likely to run out of power and need to be charged in time. It is suggested to use USB charging cable for quick charging.

4. The machine has been in normal use for several days, but there are still some animals around.
It takes 1-2 weeks for the product to take effect. Different animals are sensitive to different sounds. Some animals leave when they feel uncomfortable. At the same time, we need to choose the appropriate frequency shift according to the animal species.

5. Is it harmful to people or pets?
This product mainly USES the principle of ultrasonic wave, and has no damage to human body and pets. But a small percentage of the sound waves can be heard by human ears and pets. Over time, people and pets will feel uncomfortable. So it is not recommended to aim the product at humans or pets.

6. It can only be sensed within one meter and it makes a tiny ticking sound.
Please adjust the “Sensitivity” knob to the right to the maximum, so as to increase the Sensitivity. If the machine makes a weak tick, it is likely to run out of power and need to be recharged.

7. How long does it take to recharge? Can you charge it with solar panels on rainy days? How fast does solar charge?
The amount of time used depends on the pattern of adjustment and the number of sightings of the animals around. It can last more than 10 days on a full charge. The solar panels charge wherever there is light, rain or shine. It’s just that solar panels charge at a rate determined by the intensity of light, which is not nearly as fast as the adapter. So when using the solar panel to charge, try to adjust the solar panel to the Angle of direct sunlight. In order to ensure normal use, after the battery is exhausted, try to use the USB charging cable to charge.

8. What should I do if the machine is accidentally transferred into the water?
The machine can prevent rain, but it can’t soak in water without problems. Once in the water, please immediately take out the machine, open the battery cover, and remove the battery. Install new batteries after the inside of the machine has completely dried.
