WARNING

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION – FLANGE BASE

  1. Mark wire access and mounting holes on the mounting surface by using the mounting pad.
  2. Drill the mounting holes accordingly.
  3. Drill the wire access holes, deburr and feed the wire through.
  4. Make and test all necessary connections.
  5. Secure the beacon onto the mounting surface with mounting bolts.

Note: Dual colour beacon should be wired through a changeover relay/switch, so either the red or yellow wire are powered – not both.

INSTALLATION – VACUUM MAGNETIC BASE

  1. Position lamp on a suitable surface and push the lamp down  to engage the vacuum mount
  2. Insert cigarette plug in to a suitable socket
  3. Operate the beacon via the switch on the cigarette plug
  4. Do not exceed 120KM/H

INSTALLATION – FIXED DIN AND FLEXIBLE DIN MOUNT

  1. Position pipe mount connecting piece on a suitable surface and secure (Use part number P-85491 – sold separately)
  2. Insert lamp into pipe mount connecting piece and secure by tightening the wing nut located on the lamp

WIRING

  • BLACK To chassis ground (-)
  • RED To 10-33V DC (+) (Single Colour) (fuse rating = 3A at 12V)
  • YELLOW To 10-33V DC (+) (Dual Colour) (fuse rating = 3A at 12V)

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Warranty items will be replaced or repaired to working condition and returned without cosmetic alterations.
  2. Proof of purchase is required to validate all warranty claims. The warranty period is valid starting from the original date of purchase.
  3. All products must have been purchased through a Vision X Authorized Dealer/Reseller to be eligible for warranty.
  4. Damage resulting from any improper installation, accident, abuse, neglect or normal wear are not covered under warranty.
  5. Any product used in mining applications is warranted for one year only.
  6. Actions that void the warranty include:
    • Opening of the lighting fixture
    • Cutting any connectors or cords
    • Broken Glass
    • Damage caused by physical abuse
    • Lights operated in environments outside their stated specifications*
  7. All customer warranties should be handled through the Dealer/Reseller the product was originally purchased from. The customer is responsible for delivery to the Vision X Returns in Auburn, Washington.
  8. If a product is deemed not covered under warranty, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges.
  9. Items not covered under warranty can be repaired at the customer’s expense for parts and labor, at the discretion of Vision X Lighting, who will provide an estimated repair cost before proceeding with the repair.
