Product Usage Instructions
- This product is designed for use with STIHL trimmers. Please check your trimmer manual to ensure compatibility.
- STIHL recommends using only original STIHL replacement parts and accessories.
- Safety Precautions:

- Always wear goggles or close-fitting protective glasses with adequate side protection that are impact-rated and marked as complying with ANSI Z87.1 (US), EN 166 (Europe), or your national standard to prevent eye injuries.
- To reduce the risk of hearing damage, wear sound barriers such as earplugs or earmuffs.
- Before starting work and at regular intervals, check the condition of the trimmer, mowing head, tighten screws, and ensure freedom of movement of the bearing bushings to avoid injury from broken parts.
- Use only genuine STIHL polymer replacement blades to reduce the risk of injury from shattered blades. Replace all polymer blades at the same time.
- Replace the mowing head immediately or contact an authorized STIHL servicing dealer if wear marks on the mowing head become visible. Do not attach a wear plate to a worn mowing head.
- Replace the wear plate immediately if wear marks become visible. Do not use.
- Check freedom of movement of the bearing bushings before replacing the polymer blades or the wear plate.
- Wash the bearing bushings and collar screws in a non-flammable liquid before replacing the polymer blades or the wear plate. Dry and lubricate them with STIHL Multispray (sold separately). Retighten the collar screws.
